The hotel is in a very convenient location, within walking distance from Sapporo Station, and the breakfast buffet is awesome, with many options to choose from. We could hear other guests stomping about and running around in the room above us.
-
A little bit far from subway. It's not convenient when it rains heavily.
-
Breakfast was great with a bit of French influence. Top floor sento and lounge was a pleasant surprise The bed itself was not as comfy you might expect in a place of this caliber. Didn't understand the bar situation with the advertised one price hourly charge
-
Great location, clean & comfortable rooms, helpful staff, reasonably-priced, free amenities and onsen. May need to wait a while if many people are taking their cars out of the automatic underground carpark system at the same time.
-
Was very pleased with the Breakfast Buffet and the Happy Hour from 3pm to 10pm hours of Onsen need to be open all day
-
Clean an big rooms

Great location in Sapporo. Unfortunately I became ill on my first night in Sapporo and was unable to fully appreciate the hotel. I ventured to the breakfast on my last day (of 3) and still couldn't eat the amazing array of food on offer. Hopefully will return to Sapporo and the Cross Hotel to appreciate it.

Overall good location and clean room. Lounge close too early at 10pm, and no business desk available too. This hotel is not businessman friendly. All the coffee tables are extremely low. very bad postures for working on laptops. The King bedroom has no working desk either, my husband had to work on the bed, wall plugs are not readily accessible at couch area with coffee table, again it is not a proper desk. Take note only Queen bedrooms has writing desk, a couple will need to sacrifice sleeping space for a proper desk. Language barrier is another issue, the hotel staffs barely speaks English, there are only one or two staff who can speak good English. The rest of time we need to rely on translation tools. On 7th of June, our room aircon wasn't working, I tried to inform the front desk to request for a fan, the young lady staff looked quite offended on her facial expressions after I corrected her of my room numbers being pronounced wrongly, but she did assist to send a fan to my room though. The room aircon wasn't easy to control, at times can be extremely cold or extremely hot & stuffy, we do not understand how it works but it was tough to communicate with the front desk we decided to give up.

Limited food options and hours.

Paying to get in bar/loungue. They should open it up for paying customers

Great location. Clean. Amazing breakfast. Comfortable beds. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops in the area.
-
Location is great. Big room and very good price

Location, onsen, breakfast, lounge were all good. Short walk to attractions. Close to subway walkway. Easy walk to Jr station or airport bus stop. Hotel theme colors was dark gray and black, I felt a bit scary when walking alone at the late night time (just personal problem).

We spent our last night in Hokkaido at Cross Hotel Sapporo, and it was a very nice experience. The location was central and very easy to reach from Sapporo Station, which made it convenient for a short stay. One of the highlights was the public bath area on the top floor, separated for ladies and gentlemen. The ladies’ bath had a beautiful view of the Sapporo TV Tower, and you could even use the tower’s clock as a timer while relaxing. The room was a little small, but totally fine for one night. For a longer stay, it might be worth upgrading to a larger room, especially if you have a lot of luggage or want to keep things more organized. We also had the buffet breakfast, which was quite good, with both Japanese and Western options. I think most people would be able to find something they enjoy. Nothing major. The room was a bit small, but it was perfectly fine for one night.
