When we arrived, we were asked to pay an additional city tax, even though our Booking.com reservation stated that the price already included taxes. The hotel also advertises parking, but it wasn’t made clear that parking costs extra. The most frustrating part was after check-out. We left our car in the parking lot until 12:00 PM and were charged an additional fee because parking after 11:00 AM is no longer included. No one informed us about this, and the only notice was written in Japanese. The fees themselves weren’t expensive, but the lack of transparency made it feel like the hotel was constantly looking for ways to charge guests extra. Clear communication in English would have made a big difference.

The property was clean and location wise was great. The parking charges was also comparably cheaper compared to parking elsewhere. The rooms are a bit small and not able to open up the luggage pose a problem to us.
