Hotel Jaroal

The hotel was well positioned and generally comfortable. Amazing staff. Pamela was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable They had several issues with power outages- some beyond their control, but several power cuts. Parking was a little tight.

The staff were not very helpful. I had to wait at reception for a long time when checking in and out, and if I needed anything.

The views from the room are absolutely stunning. The pool area is peaceful and serene — a great place to unwind. The staff was attentive and accommodating, and went out of their way to move us into a renovated room once one became available midway through our stay. Not all rooms are renovated and the difference is night and day. I assumed I was booking a renovated room — I wasn't. Make sure to contact the hotel directly or leave a note in your reservation comments requesting one, or you may be disappointed. The hot water in the shower was also inconsistent, and breakfast was just okay — nothing special.

The location and that it has a pool And a private beach We came to the hotel and the stuff told us our room has a problem a so we needed to move hotel.. we were stubborn and got a room in the hotel. A different one than we payed, still payed the same money. The room was awful, no space to pee and to sit in the bathroom. There cold water in the shower, and they didn’t fix it till our last night. The flash in the toilet didn’t work so we asked them to fix it, they did it after a full day and after they finished they didn’t close the door!!!! We came at 02:00 to an open room. Totally, we are disappointed and feel we paid a lot for nothing.

Helpful and friendly front desk staff, modern and very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great free breakfast, beautiful views and pool/beach area! Perfect location (in the middle of everything and very walkable but not in the super loud hectic part of Sarande.) Amazing stay, would stay here again! It would be nice if breakfast was available until 11 am!

Would be good to be able to get a second key for the room.

The location and the views from the balcony were excellent. The size of the room was nice. It had very basic amenities, but the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the pool area was nice. I didn’t even get to stay at Hotel Jaroal. When I went to check in, they told me the hotel AC and hot water wasn’t working and asked me to stay next door at their sister property, Hotel Sejko. I did not have a choice but to be ok with the change. After two nights there, I checked out early and left. I was traveling with my 4 year old, and they kept turning my AC off, I could not control the AC from my room. My room was unbearably hot and I had to sleep with the door to the balcony open to get it cooler. The safe did not work, the battery was dead. And there were lots of ants in my room, even on the fourth floor. I wanted to love this hotel because I liked my room so much when I first arrived, but I would not stay here again. I don’t like paying for a 4 star property that continually has AC problems and to be told repeatedly that “they will fix it tomorrow.”

Dirty pool when out of season not worth staying

Really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean and very spacious, and the private pool area was fantastic with a great view. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff were all so friendly. A special thanks Ester at reception and Gentiliano at the restaurant, who were both amazing. The area is great and only about a 5 minute walk to the promenade. Would definitely stay again!

Great location on the waterfront with a pool and its own little section of the beach. Rooms all have nice balconies overlooking the sea. Breakfast buffet was good and staff were friendly. Only a short 5 min walk to the promenade. Parking onsite as well.

The rooms have clearly had a refresh from the photos on booking.com and were nice and modern. One of the best authentic Albanian restaurants is right opposite- Trumeza The beds are very soft The staff are all very friendly Theres a dog! Also very friendly The pool area is nice I was a little apprehensive before due to some reviews suggesting a sea view room was swapped for ground floor or side sea views but the view from the room was great and would suggest a sea view room! The balcony lights didn't seem to work. The bar next door to the hotel plays loud music but it didn't bother us much.

Fantastic location not to near the noisy part of Sarande but not too far from the bars and restaurants. Hotel itself is superb - right on the sea-front and our rooms were spectacular -straight out onto the terrace where the pool was located and no more than about 20 steps to the beautiful clear sea. Restaurant and lunches/dinner was exceptional. Hot water for the showers etc went off for a couple of hours on two of the mornings (but was quickly fixed by about lunchtime), so no real big deal.

The location was great - it’s situated at the edge of the promenade, so close to restaurants and cafes etc. it not in the thick of it. The interior of the communal areas were really nicely designed Two of the five mornings there was no water to shower Towels for the beach were often not available Breakfast buffet regularly ran out of cutlery, coffee amongst other things and stuff never seemed to notice Service by the pool was sporadic Staff just seemed to hang around smoking and drinking coffee in front of guests. Guest requests were met with total indifference and it seemed like having guests was a hassle and

Lovely hotel - beautiful terrace for breakfast and evening meals if you want to dine there too. I didn't see any photos of this prior but it was beautifully landscaped and built all around a large tree! The pool is small but right on the beach, and only 2 pebbly steps to the sea. WEAR water shoes as there are sea urchins! the breakfast was the most lovely of all we had on our travels all over Albania. This hotel was really lovely. Sarande was busier than we expected and more commercialised, however this hotel is in a good spot, just a short walk from the port with lots of good restaurants around so I would definitely stay here again. There is a family-run feel around the restaurant. We had a car and parking was a bit of a mare as never any spaces OR they were super tight to get into - it's a busy road! Next door apartments seem to have empty parking lot so I would have preferred to park there for a small fee and less hassle every time we arrived/departed from hotel! Otherwise loved the hotel.

on arrival we were disappointed from the start... the parking was not a car park, we had to leave our car keys with reception and they parked the car on the street outside the hotel(our car keys were just left on the reception desk.... on 2 occasions we were given the wrong car keys as they had 2 fords staying at the hotel. the room we had booked was not given. we had booked a sea view room with balcony. we were taken to ground floor room on the pool/sun lounger terrace which was very noisy and the room smelt of tabacco. only after several conversation with the reception staff and the Manager being called did they eventually get us the correct room... which we had been told was not available until this point. the room we were eventually given was next to the restaurant and the vent in our bathroom ceiling vented into the restaurant, this acted like a speaker on evening when live music was being played. we only stayed for 2 nights of our 5 night stay. the room issue was all blamed on Booking.com but felt it was the hotel trying it on... would not recommend. parking was not available on site as stated on listing and room we booked was not initially offered. only got coorect room after threatening to leave and asking for a full refund. miraculously our room was available at this point. Lesson learnt as far as believing Instagram profiles...
