Joy Hotel

Thanks to the whole staf ??

First, the address was "incorrect" because Hotel Joy doesn't exist. There's a snack bar that serves as the "reception." The person who served us was very rude and unfriendly. Payment is cash only, without any receipt. We were left without hot water for over 12 hours. Breakfast was basically bread and coffee. I don't recommend this accommodation to anyone. It was our worst experience on this platform.

The room is simple but very clean, neat, and cozy. The bedding was fresh, clean, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the spotless condition of the room and bathroom. The staff is incredibly friendly. Some of them don’t speak much English, but they really try to understand and are always willing to help, which creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Especially Sonja was very friendly and helpful. The sea is about a 5-minute walk away - you just need to walk slightly uphill from the waterfront, which isn’t a problem. Breakfast is simple but tasty: boiled eggs, croissants, bread, butter, jam, honey, watermelon, melon, and coffee from a machine. I was happy to see fresh fruits. I personally missed some protein (like cheese or yogurt), also vegetables, but maybe it’s just a part of the local food culture. Overall, a great budget-friendly option. I recommend it to those who value cleanliness, coziness, and a friendly atmosphere.

Good Location The balcony is large and the view on the street is authentic. The room was clean There’s no parking they put a sign reserved and it’s first come first served you park on the street if you are lucky there’s space if you’re not you need to ask at the cafe for someone to move his car but when you arrive late at night it’s very inconvenient. The shower was leaking if you stay more than 5 min We were forced to pay in cash

The room was clean, not too small. The room was at the third floor without elevator, but we knew that. Not too easy to found, there is no sign in the street. The entrance is from the bar

No parking, street very dirty, not a good location, no one spoke English even though the old couple seemed very kind

The owners were lovely. Room was perfect and exactly as it looked in the pictures. Breakfast was lovely in the bar below. Great value for money!

Super friendly owners! We came very late for check in - no problem for them! Breakfast was good but not a lot to choose from (Bred, butter, eggs, fruits, croissant, juice, coffee) Room was clean! All in all very nice deal!

The staff are really nice . The rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is also good, 5 minutes walk from the port and Saranda promenade.

very good location, room very clean and tidy. very nice balcony and really fresh. never hot. everyone are really good and the owner helps us with suitcase maybe a bit the breakfast was not a lot (only croissant and not ever for all). our apartment was at third floor but the owner helps us with suitcase. really good guy
