Lantern Inn & Suites

This hotel doesn't look like anything special from the road. However, the rooms were well kept and comfortable. Everything was clean and in good shape. The room had a Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, etc. -- Probably the coolest feature of the hotel is an outdoor Tiki bar, which has several TV's. No breakfast is offered at this hotel, so if that's important to you, book elsewhere. Otherwise, for the money, this was a decent place to stay.

Beautiful Place , Pool And Bar Very Nice Will Def Stay Again In The Future

We arrived to a nice cold clean room. The staff instantly let us know if there was anything we needed to let them know, which I thought it was very welcoming. Every day our room remained clean thanks to their cleaning staff. We would definitely book with them again.

I’ve stayed here on multiple occasions. The rooms are excellent and have small kitchenettes. It is a convenient location as well.

The rooms and hotel were very nice for the money. Somebody banged on my door really hard at 3 a.m. and was kicking?? They told me a person was causing a ruckus and they removed her from the property. You get a free drink at the tiki bar. It’s in a good location.

The staff are really nice people. They are helpful and polite. They also seemed genuinely interested in making sure the stay was nice. One day the room somehow was missed by the cleaners, mistakes happen but they were sincerely concerned and apologetic. I would stay there again.

Unique and interesting property! The staff was helpful, the rooms clean and updated. The main attraction is the Tiki bar (Jimmie’s on 41) that’s located on the property. For the money, this is THE place to stay. They do NOT serve breakfast and they do NOT have a gym, so if these amenities are important to you, you’ll want to look elsewhere. Highly recommend IHOP on 14th Street for breakfast (avoid the place across the street from the hotel - not very clean and the food was mediocre at best).

La habitación estaba super limpia,la ropa de cama,las toallas,baño y cocina en perfecto estado y muy higiénico todo.Un ambiente tranquilo.La atención fué muy buena,al final nos devolvieron los $ 150 del depósito.Solo estuvimos 1 día con su noche.No utilizamos la piscina y el bar.La relación calidad--precio es justa.Sin dudas la recomendaría y si volvemos a Sarasota nuevamente,volveríamos a quedarnos allí.Felicitaciones!

The rooms are nice and clean. They have a nice pool area with a tiki hut. The owner was very accommodating and matched prices. I come here quite often and they never let me down. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Even though the building is old, everything is clean and organized; the service was excellent, and the area is very quiet.
