Hotel Sausalito

No breakfast Bed was very hard , traffic loud

The only issue we has was the A/C did not cool the room as much as we would have liked….it may be time for an upgrade. I would definitely mention the A/C before booking to make sure it works well.

This is a boutique hotel with a limited number of rooms. The location is ideal for Sausalito, next to the ferry with beautiful ocean view and view of the peninsula. The staff are very friendly, and the service is excellent. The rooms are spacious, and the view is gorgeous.

The property is right in middle of town. Great location.

EXCELLENT location. Right at the ferry dock. The parking was a little expensive ($30 a day) but having a space for my whole visit (4 days) was so worth it because parking in Sausalito is impossible. The hotel is a bit quirky. There are reproduction paintings of old French artists in the hallways, each lit with its own light but that just adds to the old fashioned ambience. The building dates to 1915. Everything was little dated, not luxe, but extremely clean. Comfortable bed. I had a refrigerator, which was not advertised, and that was very helpful. There was no one at the front desk for my whole stay (4 days). There was someone to check me in and then I didn’t see anybody again. You have to call a number to get someone. I didn’t need anything but I trust their system works.

I love small boutique hotels, but many bank on a few features, such as location or view and leave other important details unattended. Hotel Sausalito had every amenity I needed and it did not cost me an arm and a leg.

The hotel is an old brothel and it literally smells awful! You walk out and you are by the water, which is the only good thing about it. There is NOTHING IN THE HOTEL- not even staff at night, the PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE! Never again!!

Clean room . Our room faced the bay and Hotel Sausalito is very central located in pier near ferry station. The property is very well maintained and decorated. Bathroom are modern and well lighted. Hot water, no AC but not needed just leave windows opens for breeze to flow. Hotel is next to an amazing restaurant as well located in an area with many options for dinning within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful.
