A great location in Tiburon. Walking distance to Sam's which has an incredible view of the city. The room was clean and spacious with two queen beds. Staff is very friendly - check in was a breeze.

Love the location! Convenient with food close by and ferry access. Staff was friendly. Photos online are not accurate. Paint peeling off walls, water damage in bathroom. Old and run down. Has a great future if renovated. Not what I expected for close to $400/night.

For a luxury hotel the Lodge was missing some amenities.1. No cream or milk for morning coffee, only powdered substitute. 2. No sundries or snacks available. No wine available. Tiberon is a retail desert. Hotel should provide for missing retail like liquor stores and fast food.

    Pleasant

The room was clean and comfortable. The property seemed a little dated.

It is a scam. They sold me the stay and then declined me last minute at 8 pm It is not trust worthy

On her days off, The Lodge seemed understaffed, and certain things did not work smoothly, starting with trying to reach the front desk. One night it took nearly two hours for someone to be available to bring me ice. The restaurant next door suffered through similar staffing issues. My attempts at room service were not always successful. The QR code in my room that was supposed to show the menu to order for room service was full of drinks, but it didn’t really show a food menu, except for five happy hour items. I learned that calling works to order when someone is available to pick up the phone. Anyway, these frustrating issues were mostly due to my non-ambulatory state. The property is cute and fits in with the little town of Tiburon, which is very short walk away. My room was large, the bed gigantic and the little patio was a welcome way to soak up some afternoon sun. The restaurant has a very cool patio as well that would be a great way to end the day with a few drinks. The staff at both, when available, was sweet. I am having a family member stay at The Lodge in a few weeks, so I obviously like the place. I just think the staffing needs bulking up, and Laveena and her smile should be cloned!

Very friendly staff! Great to have the pool.

The location of this place is amazing! The service by the employees were also great! The room itself had so much to be desired. The room was old and weathered inside but it served it's purpose for the night.

The hotel needs an update. It’s very old and rundown and smells like mold for the price that we paid. I expected a lot more. The staff was very nice, but the rooms were dirty..

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The room had a very strong fragrance in it. They were trying to cover up the musty smell. The sheets were dirty, had hair on them.

The service, particularly Rolando at the reception. To have the restaurant open for breakfast

The location of this motel is fantastic. Very close to the beautiful promenade and to the restaurant and boutiques quarters. There’s a grocery store right across the street. The pool is nice although not very big and with little shade. But in the end it is a motel and not a hotel and is is due for some TLC. The nightly fee was high.

The location is perfect to walk around. It’s close to the shopping center. The restaurant inside Tavern has a delicious food and great service. The price is so expensive for the minimum comfortable space in the room. It’s twice the price of a regular standard room. The room doesn’t have bathtub or another special amenities or complementary welcome kits. The pool area wasn’t nice. It looks dirty and uncaring.

Check in was very easy and parking is super convenient on the premises. The hotel is outdated and the rooms are very basic close to à 2 star quality. Shower had poorly repaired fixtures, hole in th ceiling, paper thin walls, blinds that didn’t work. Not what you’d expect for $400+ per night. Pool was lovely and lounge beds were pretty cool. Rooms need to be updated or bring down the price considerably. I can’t see visiting again at à price higher than $125 night.

The Lodge at Tiburon is in a great location, walking distance to the village and Tiburon is a lovely seaside village. The Lodge is a little weary. The pictures make it look a bit more upscale but than it is. That being said, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The TV’s are not smart TVs so streaming is not available. The food at the Tiburon Tavern was very good.

Good location near the water with free parking and a couple of car chargers. Older facility, pool and hot tub and not everything is in working order. Only one road in and out with lots of traffic, especially during school pick-up times. Nice staff at hotel and restaurant.
