Breakfast wasn't until 8:30am which meant we couldn't have it as we had to leave for work business prior to that.

Lovely, cozy and very friendly staff. Excellent food. Poor shower.

The Dinner menu was exceptional and very well cooked.
-
Accommodation, location, staff and the food and drinks Nothing to note

Lovely little pub & stay. Warm & friendly , rooms were very cute and the perfection location for us to do some visiting of the area. Only negative’s would be no beans with the fry up in the morning & slightly slower waitresses in the evening. Toilet wouldn’t flush great but not a massive problem.

A friendly welcoming pub with a good variety of food cooked to a very good standard. Good location only a short drive to Scarborough and in the other direction Hayburn Wyke well worth a visit to see the waterfall. No complaints
-
This a typical local country pub like they used to be open all day very friendly and good choice of beers, food was exceptional and dining area good plenty of parking The only dislike was the shower in our room 6 , the flow was inadequate for a decent shower but it did the job

Third time staying here, best asset is the excellent staff. Quite dated property but very clean and good food. Room five had a barely functioning shower which was a little inconvenient. Staff are helpful, friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them. Liked the new outside seating area and having stayed previously in the newer accommodation block I would recommend staying in those rooms. We will certainly return as location is great for coastal resorts.

Breakfast - could not fault it. All staff friendly and good service. Nice feel about the bar. Two evening meals, good quality and generous portions. Big car park.

Really enjoyed our stay in this welcoming inn. The bed was really comfortable in our clean and spacious room. We had a delicious dinner as well as breakfast. Within easy reach of Scarborough, Whitby, and the moors.

Love the feel of the place, old world charm but keeps modernising. Shower in room 6 was very weak, water hot but no power.
-
Staff all very friendly, helpful, and approachable. Meals were extremely well cooked, well presented and served at appropriate temperature, i.e., hot food was hot.
