Breakfast. dinner, parking, position, staff Smelly dogs in restaurant area - not nice when you are having breakfast. We love dogs but eating areas are not appropriate for them, esepecially if they have not had a bath recently!

Food & service exceptional, personal friendly . Rather chilly we wore jumpers over rugby shirts most of our stay . (Central heating not on ,expected this time of year ) fire was lite on 2 nights of our stay in bar but no central heating .

Good location for our needs. Good breakfast. Manager's attitude was not great, shame because the rest of the staff were lovely and welcoming.

My partner and I stayed at the Oakwheel over Easter, arrived very early way before check in time. However, we were able to have the room straight away, we were then offered breakfast even though it had just ended, breakfast choices are great, quality produce & delicious?, The team here are amazing nothing is too much trouble, also had an evening meal again delicious, that steak pie is to die for, everything was piping hot & fantastic quality, it's just a fab little spot, traditional pub, open fire, and made all the better by the amazing team that work there, Can't fault it location wise either & is perfect for Whitby/Scarborough/Robin Hood Bay, etc , Didn't want to leave, This place is exceptional value for money , can't wait to go back!
