Beautiful location, beautiful pub and room. I’ve stayed in scores of hotels and this room was up there with the best of them. Food was great with a great selection That I only had one night there

Beautiful pub, delicious restaurant in the quaint village of Scalby. Room was in the attic with a small high window, I would have preferred a larger window.

The room is lovely, spacious and clean with an awesome shower and great service. Our meal in the restaurant was one of the best meals we have had on our travels over 16 weeks. Nothing.

Lovely room, very clean, lovely extra touches, lovely bedding. Meal in restaurant very nice. Bed was very comfy, pillows not firm enough would have preferred a king size bed rather than double. Not great parking.

A real surprise. Expected a ground floor cottage but was met with a superb two bed house. Fabulous! Nothing

Good food, lovely room. Really enjoyed the place and would stay again. Roll top bath - needs cleaning underneath. Leaking shower and cold tap. Needs tightening.

The room was well appointed .The water in the ensuite was hot and pressure was good..Although our room faced the road the area was quiet at night.A small excellent range of food and a variety of drinks were available.. Not applicable
