The Outlook is super comfortable and laid back with warm and caring service. The breakfast is delicious and abundant. Bed was super comfy. Can’t think of anything.

Lovely staff very helpful. Beautiful place lovely and cosy. Breakfast was lovely really enjoyed it. Room was bit small but cannot complain was clean and had everything we needed.

The location was very peaceful and calm, the room had everything that most seem to require these days, wi-fi, toiletries, a big comfortable bed and huge fluffy bath towels. The breakfast is always made with the local fresh produce and wonderfully cooked and presented. The friendliest of hosts that are always happy and chatty, plus full of local knowledge to help those of us from out of town. Highly recommended. There was nothing to not like.

We loved everything, the hospitality was first class, the room was comfortable, very clean, and beautifully decorated, the breakfast was amazing and it was the perfect location with a short walk to the park which led to the beach. Nothing

Amazing stay at The Outlook! A perfect little car park at the back with a quiet road outside just a short walk into Scarborough. Stuart and Peter were fantastic and made you feel incredibly welcome! Beautiful homemade welcome tea and cake and the most fantastic breakfasts! Would definitely recommend and return in the future. A wonderful gem in a great location, so glad we found it!

On arrival, the hosts greeted us with tea and cake whilst our bags were taken to the room. The room was cosy, very clean and had everything we needed in there. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed fresh fruit salads, a full English and salmon/scrambled eggs between us. The homemade jams were also excellent. The location was ideal for us, it is a good walk to the South bay but we love to walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended

Breakfast excellent and plentiful. The owners were very friendly and gave us the information we needed to find our way around. The room was compact, but had 2 easy chairs, tea and coffee making facilities and two dressing gowns. There is a small bar open in the evening, which we used and it had an adequate selection of bottled beers and spirits. The location is 20 minutes walk from the town centre and beach and very quiet. The local bus to town finishes at 5pm, but that is the fault of the local council, not the outlook, so you either have to walk back of an evening or get a taxi. We are pensioners, but found the walk acceptable. The bathroom was a bit small, but the shower worked well.
