The Headlands Hotel is located in the heart of Scarborough's beautiful North Bay looking across towards Scarborough Castle and has a wide range of spotlessly clean rooms available, all of which are en-suite and have breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast is served in our bright and spacious dining room using fresh local produce and we also have a fully licensed bar that is open every evening serving drinks and food. It's just a five minute walk from the hotel to the North Bay Beach, Peasholm Park, Scarborough Open Air Theater and Alpamare Water Park and there are bars and restaurants close by. The town center and South Bay beach are both within easy reach of the hotel.

We travelled to Scarborough to see a concert at the Open Air Theatre . The hotel was only a five minute walk to the venue which was ideal. We received a Friendly greeting from Steve and Karen on our arrival. Steve very kindly helped us both with our bags to the room. Our room was clean, airy and well presented on our arrival. It was well stocked with tea, coffee milk etc. The bathroom was on the small side but adequate and again it was clean well supplied with toiletries and towels. The breakfast was fantastic. We had a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, fruit juices and full English , tea coffee and toast. There was a lack of carparking , but the whole area around the Theatre was rammed with cars so every one would have had a problem to park. In saying that Steve always managed to accommodate us with our parking.

Very good breakfast Very clean and no noise both within hotel and surrounding area. Small car park at rear ample parking on street. Room allocation ar side Room small and compact. Dark with window facing into fire escape

Everything in the hotel was great. Our room, although smallish, had everything you could need. Thought has been put into it. The hotel is a display case for interesting Scarborough memorabilia and colourful vintage items. Our hosts were kind and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and plan to return. Oh, and the breakfast was first class.

From start to finish, we were made to feel welcome. Karen and Steve were very attentive. Took time to get to know their guests. Breakfast was lovely. All cooked fresh. We will be back. Great location too
