Ashburton House

It was perfect all round. Great location with on site parking. The hotel was exceptional with lovely extras ( milk and water , crisps, sweets etc) . Very clean hotel with lovely owners who you can tell dedicate themselves to great service. The breakfasts served are a must for any guest . Would always try and book this hotel when im in the area . Many thanks for a lovely weekend. Everything was perfect

The location is excellent for access to the public transport,good shopping and walks into the centre of Scarborough and the South Bay. Public areas are very nicely presented with a seaside theme. The room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of natural light from the big window although you are not overlooked. I liked the open storage as you won’t leave anything behind and it also ties the decor together. Tea tray with biscuits was welcome and you can top up from supplies in the reception area including fresh milk and chilled water. The window blind blocked out the light really well. The bathroom had a very good and simple to use shower which is nice and spacious. Excellent double glazing kept seagull noise (inevitable by the sea) to a minimum. Nothing. It worked perfectly for my needs in visiting local shops and spending an afternoon at the theatre. It’s in a quiet area so I had a very restful stay.

Very clean and well appointed room with every convenience thought off. Whole place is immaculate and very nicely done out. Parking spaces onsite too. Nothing!

Very easy to check in and efficient welcome from the host. Great on site parking given the quite bizarre 3 hr disc park thing in operation in most ? of the area Nothing

Great location with parking. Easy walking distance into Scarborough. Nice big bedroom, with the extra snacks on arrival being an added bonus! (Plus fresh milk!) Hosts were fab! The mattress was quite uncomfortable (could feel the springs). Maybe a newer TV in the room might be a good upgrade

Really lovely! Beautiful bed and furniture and all different and quirky. Really well done and having fresh milk and snacks in the room was a lovely extra touch. Not had a tunnocks tea cake for years! Great breakfast too.

An excellent Guest House with onsite parking. Very welcoming and friendly owners. Plenty of attention to detail in the room with fresh milk available etc etc which shines through in abundance from the owners who have given the customer experiencr much thought Very good breakfast at an excellent price ! I thoroughly reccomend this establishment and shall use it again should I return to Scarborough Nothing

Really clean and cosy Parking was a little difficult when other customers parked their cars over two spaces

Well presented property. Off road parking available on arrival was a bonus. Stayed in Scarborough room, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast had a variety of options, all delicious.

Lovely b&b thank you to Margaret and Steve. Modern style, exceptionally clean and has everything you need in the room. In reception you can pick up chilled little bottles of milk and water, extra teabags etc. Some little treats in the room and the breakfast was outstanding. About a 10 min walk to the seafront. Would not hesitate staying again or recommending to others. Nothing

Attention to detail great breakfast and it smelt lovely as soon as you stepped into the building

Can't really say much other than, excellent. If being really picky the mattress couldn't have been a bit more comfortable ( but maybe preferences)

The little touches like real milk in the room fridge in little bottles and additional milk and water in the hallway fridge. Beautiful decor sweets on table stand up fan to keep us cool and not far from the sea front Nothing !

Liked everything about the place cant wait to come back in fact i was looking to return later in the year but the dates i wanted was fully booked i will certainly reccomend this b and b to my friends The only thing i didnt like is i have a bad chest and the hill made me out of breath

Lovely clean modern room, breakfast fantastic, very near to seafront but far enough back to make it quiet Nothing not to like but a large double bed would make the room perfect
