If you could imagine a traditional yet modern and comfortable guesthouse in the Black Forest this is exactly it. The couple who run the place are lovely- it's like staying with your friendly aunt and uncle. The views are sublime- you can walk literally 2 minutes up the hill and see right the way across to the snow capped Alps. Good hearty home cooked food and cakes on offer. Nothing.

We had a relaxing stay at the hotel after a long drive. The room was clean. Great view, great breakfast! Unfortunately, the restaurant was (for us unexpected) closed. We had to walk into town for dinner.

Parking places are not an issue, as there are plenty, except during summer when restaurant is open, then there may be an issue. Having room with view to town would be more appreciated. Staff was friendly. Room is dark (the back side), mainly due to trees covering sunlight and lights in room are of weak performance. The noise from neighbouring rooms is audible (e.g. talking). Restaurant was closed, so for dinner I had to go down to the town (not big issue, but would have been pleasure to taste something at place). Breakfast is basic and some food was not re-filled for other guests.

Large and tidy room. Nice view from the window, balcony. Only cold food for breakfast. No dessert, although they sell it in the evening.
