Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Restaurant closed as expected but no staff on site. Rather isolated. Nothing near for coffee etc. Perhaps a kettle and tea and coffee in room would be a good idea when no other facilities available. Many hotels do this. Not very welcoming!

Location is good. Not much

We much appreciated the beautiful old furniture in the rooms. Each room with its own features and style. Yet with modern bathrooms. A sense of history prevails in a positive and thoughtful way throughout the hotel and restaurant. The meals were good and plentiful. Location quiet.

Rooms are clean and airy and bathrooms were clean. We only stayed one night as were travelling through in a motorcycle trip but we had a good nights sleep on comfy mattress in a clean room. Couldn’t ask for more really Was a little confusion on check in over what rooms we booked and for how many people which was resolved but we were then asked to pay extra upon check out which we refused. Not sure if it was booking.com’s issue or the hotel’s issue.

bathroom was okay. breakfast mediocre. my company was perfect and lovely. bed only had sheets for 1 person. reception was closed, I found another duvet in a closet in the hallway with no covers. Slept under that. we booked the room thinking we could eat in the restaurant, but the manager said it was full, there were many tables not occupied. the manager was extremely rude, I have never experienced anything like it, terrible service. very bad coffee also.

room and patio out at the yard the restorant and staff. the hotel is furnished with lot of old and antiqe things
-
Charming bedroom, partly old fashioned in a positive way, mixed with a renewed modernised shower/toilet. We were very happy. The restaurant was great and the breakfast fine.
