Ashore Hotel

Cons: amenities aren’t always working (cold pool, non-working sauna), breakfast is too limited and plain, concrete flooring.

Location is great. Room is good size. Bunkbeds were nice for the kids. The front desk did have a portable fan for us to use which was very helpful. Daily breakfast was nice. It was simple (crossants, yogurt and fruit) but worked well. We did have a tea pot in our room and 2 mugs and 2 glasses as well as microwave and mini fridge with small freezer. air conditioner unit wasn't very efficient. It felt like it needed a freon recharge because it never blew cold air at all. We were able to get fan from the front desk which saved us as there was no air movement in the bedroom.

EV charging is available (yay!) but be aware that there's only one space and it's a slow charge. And, a note to the staffer that knocked once and called out "room service " exactly 4 seconds before unlocking the door and barging in, a full 90 minutes before checkout, maybe wait to see if anyone answers before entering?!? And maybe just wait until your posted check out time before trying to get in to clean the room? Just a thought..

The curtains were stained and had holes, and again - there was not a little mold in my shower but a lot. Plus the shower curtain rode was broken (likely bc they had to keep trying to cover the mold).

Great location! Close to beach and town. We were able to walk to most places The lighting over the bathroom sink. Very dim and hard to see when getting ready.

The staff were the friendliest and very helpful and gracious. The pool and sauna were broken snd we had looked forward to using them. The breakfasts were ok but not at all like the pictures presented in their marketing .

Rooms clean but a little sparse. AC was nice. Staff super friendly. Supposed to have muffins for breakfast but we left before 8am so never saw them. Expensive compared to other options. I stayed in Seaside two nights, my second night at a different hotel that I was much happier with the location, room and price.

Great location and we loved the rustic vibe, but room needed 3 repairs which were reported to the staff but they did nothing until it became critical. Requested a room refresh but that never happened the 4 days we were there. Breakfast was disappointing with instant coffee. I would not go back.

The hotel is just a short walk from the beach. It was a nice stay that allowed pets. We were able to bring our Golden Retriever. We had a wonderful stay! Limited food options in the their eatery.

Staff on arrival very helpful. Great location for beach and restaurants. They even have beers and cider in tap. I can see why this place gets good reviews.

Passable

Great location with parking. The staff were very nice, check-in was quick. The room was spacious and clean, rustic details were quirky and cute. We were in room 22 on the roadside so it was a bit noisy but quieted down after 11 pm. Would definitely stay again but request a room away from the road.

Just wish the pool was looking nicer and with warmer water… Overall, clean, safe, and close to the beach!

I liked everything about the stay

We loved the complementary bikes and the EV Charger. Super convinient. The room cofee was delicious and the attention was very friendly and accommodating.
