The PROS: 1) the Views are fantastic. And there are 2) gas BBQs in the common area should you want to use them, and a 3) full size fridge. 4) Trailhead begins right on property. The CONS: 1) Biggest one is the window A/C unit, it was loud, it made a flutter/ticking sound continually. It was hot when we visited, so the A/C ran continually. The constant sound was too much. Trish came and took a look, took the cover off (clearly she had done it before), but agreed it was unfixable, and the sound would continue. She even had my hubby look at a couple other studios but those A/C units made noise too. 2) the place is old (and feels like a camp ground), the units have some features that have been upgraded, but overall it still feels “old and outdated” rather than “quaint and cozy” as others have said. 3) didn’t find it comfy, there was one nice chair and 2 bar stools, which didn’t make it easy for two of us to watch tv and be comfortable. - Had higher hopes from reviews, but will not be returning

Reception was so kind, they allowed us to use the amenities 3 hours before check in. Super clean and quite area to stay in.

Loved staying in the chalet with our kids and dogs! Pool, trails, s’mores, etc.

Fantastic stay-

One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in a very long time. The location is incredible, rooms were nicer than expected and the staff was great! The only problem we had was with the swimming pool, something definitely wrong with the water, chemicals were definitely off. We will definitely visit there again!

Amazing place in perfect place with heavenly views

The heated pool and hot tub were perfect after a long day. You can roast marshmallows over the fire pits while gazing at the absolutely stunning night sky. Having full kitchenettes in the rooms and gas grills outside gives it a super relaxed, homey feel and gives you the option to have a nice little home cooked meal. We’ve definitely found our go-to place in Sedona!

Wonderful property, really well maintained and incredible views. So many details thought about…from USB plugs in the kitchen to the small dishwasher! The coffee was excellent. Nightly s’mores were a hit. Clean room with modern updates. We had a chalet and studio for our group and everyone loved the stay! Nothing!

This is by far one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed! You walk out your room door and you are greeted by the most beautiful, awe inspiring, take your breath away views. The property is so well taken care of and inviting. We ate all our meals outside at the little tables provided. The room was so comfortable! I forgot to ask the staff about the beds because honestly, I want to get one for my house. The kitchenette is a nice size and the island makes it easy to make your own meals if you don’t want to eat out every night. Every evening we made our dinner (there are BBQs provided just outside your room) and sat and watched the setting sunlight fade over the rocks. These tiny bats would come out and eat the insects and one night, after a good thunderstorm, we heard the coyotes calling out to each other. It was so cool! The Slim Shady Trailhead is right there so you can literally walk out your room door and across to the trail to experience and explore Arizona’s incredible biodiversity! I honestly had no idea how diverse it was until this trip. The town is small and friendly and it’s like 5 miles outside of Sedona. We are 100% going back and staying at this hotel!

Loved everything!

Loved our stay as it provided easy access to hiking trails and the place felt like we were camping. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Loved that they provided s’mores for the fire pit. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Also very nice mattress as our bed was huge and perfect firmness. Definitely would return here to experience the beauty of Sedona. Can’t get enough of the gorgeous views.

I lived that there are trails right on property. The views are STUNNING!!! Staff were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the area! Thanks for. Wonderful stay!! Highly recommend!

The view alone was worth staying here, but also the room was excellent, the staff very friendly and the location in town was convenient and close to lots of things without feeling like you were in the middle of town. Can't recommend this place enough I couldn't say longer
