The lighting in the bathroom was better than in most hotels. There was a mini-fridge to keep water cold. The location was within walking distance of the taxi stand. The room was small and had nowhere to sit except on the bed. No one spoke English so it was impossible to get answers to any questions. The bedding was a duvet, which are always too hot to sleep with; I had to sleep in my clothes instead. The pillows were solid foam and uncomfortable. When I went to get breakfast a little after 7 a.m. there was no breakfast.

Very precarious. Doesn’t provide the basics of a hotel. No one helps you with suitcases, no one cleaned our room on the first day - I had to ask, otherwise no one would have cleaned it throughout the stay. Breakfast starts at 8 am!!! Super late. And it’s very repetitive, no options to choose from. Plus the room we were staying in has an improvised bathroom built in the middle, with the roof open. it’s like using a public stall

I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and modern aesthetic. It’s centrally situated between two wonderful cafes and only 12 minutes from the bus station. Most importantly for sightseers, the bus for Ephesus stops right outside the door, making the trip to the ruins completely stress-free. The check-in was quick, and the breakfast was a great start to the day

The location was superb. It was very close to the museum and a convenient parking lot. Right next door was a great cafe where we had a good time and great dessert and tea. Felt right at home thanks to the welcoming staff. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The inner garden was really special. If it wasn't winter, we would have spent much more time there. The only awkward thing was a minaret right outside the top floor room. Luckily the speakers were aimed away from the hotel. The morning adhan really wasn't so loud, but the sight of it gave one of us some hesitation.

Great location. A few minutes walking from the train station and close to the town center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We really loved the couple of cafes next door. So cozy and the coffee and desserts were delicious! The staff was very nice but they spoke no English. It was impossible to ask them questions or book any tours or transportation from them. Had to go to the hotel next door for assistance.

The location was great for seeing the key sights and walking to great restaurants. The guest rooms were clean upon checkin and what we expected. The double room with garden views was spacious and the a/c worked great. They gave us wine glasses to use and the owner even brought us raki glasses to use. Breakfast was great with different eggs and a little variety every day but I have to agree with previous reviews about the mystery of why a party of 3 gets the same quantity of breakfast as a party of 1?? Appears to be a family run hotel but the staff take no pride in it and put in a minimal effort to keep it clean. Our rooms were not serviced at all during our 4 night stay even though we asked a couple of times and specifically asked for soap and toilet tissue (even using photos to help with our lack of Turkish). One of the guys that worked there came and filled the soap dispenser in the shower after we asked him specifically and also had to go and get our own toilet tissue from them. The photos online showed a lovely garden/courtyard but when we were there it was very neglected, overrun with ants, and we had to wash off a table and chairs ourselves. We sat out there for our cocktail hour but it was not a pleasant relaxing atmosphere.

I arrived in town, GPS in hand, ready to check in—and promptly drove past the hotel. Twice. It’s tucked away just enough that a landmark like ‘next to the McDonald’s parking lot’ would’ve saved me some circling. Once I finally found it, everything else was smooth sailing. Parking came with a fee, but it wasn’t outrageous. A small hiccup in an otherwise pleasant stay.

The breakfast and the location was great. The noise and the bathroom .

The rooms are clean and new-ish. The evening manager at the hotel is extremely helpful and made us feel welcome - warm, friendly, speaks very good English, gave us lots of useful tips and advice without us asking, insisted on carrying all our bags to the 2nd floor. The morning experience is very odd. It feels like the hotel is operating on a tight budget or the staff is not properly trained. 3 of us (booked 2 rooms) only received one platter each morning for breakfast. Another table with a single traveler also got one platter. My parents had breakfast first and when I joined their table, they have already finished most of the platter. When the manager came to offer me coffee, she saw what’s left on the table but still walked away. I had to ask her to come back for additional cheese and fruits. The same thing happened day 2. We were also asked if our rooms need to be cleaned, which is also odd. By default, daily room service should be provided and it’s up to the guests to opt out. Lastly, before leaving the hotel, we had takeout lunch at the hotel dining area before leaving the hotel. This entire time 3 managers/hosts just watched us from afar. One walked past our table as if we don’t exist; another came over to take a peek of what we were having and quickly left. She also started spraying what I think is air refresher half way through our lunch. We were confused - does our food smell terrible?? In the end they just watched us walking out of the door. If we didn’t turn around and say goodbye, we probably won’t receive any acknowledgment.

Lovely property. Great location Staff were surprisingly grumpy- the only place we experienced this during our 3 weeks in Turkey.

Good location near the centre of town, close to St. John's basilica. Very nice room with a balcony, small fridge, nice bathroom. Hospitable host - right at the beginning, he informed me about the city and the public transport options to the main turistic destinations in the vicinity. At my departure, the receptionist and a group of his friends arranged the reservation on the minibus to the airport for me. The receptionist took me to the bus stop himself. /

    Very good

Very clean and cozy. What we really like was the fact that the hotel has a water dispenser. This allowed us to refill water and save ourselves and the hotel from wasting so much water plastic bottles.

Location is perfect. The rooms are beautifully done, very clean and fresh. The breakfast is lovely too. We are vegetarian and so they prepared vegetarian bf for us. The manager Mustafa, is absolutely lovely person who is very helpful and guides you if you need any help. Nothing as such for dislike, just note that the parking is on street which is super safe as we parked for 3 days!

Great place to stay in Selçuk. Perfect location for exploring the city and Ephesus. The Ephesus museum and St John Basilica is literally right next door. Clean rooms and a beautiful back yard. The staff was very helpful and the owners of the hotel warm and kind. There’s really nothing we didn’t like about this hotel, but if we come back we would probably pick one of the bigger rooms with a balcony. If you have a large/ many luggages it’s a bit too tight in the smallest room.
