Nilya is simply gorgeous! The rooms are beautifully decorated with local artifacts. The outdoor space gives you a moment to rest and enjoy your breakfast in the shade of a gorgeous mulberry tree. The owners are extremely lovely and helpful. They’ve given us lots of local recommendations and helped arrange transportation. We loved our time at Nilya.

The property and staff were amazing. It felt like home! Nothing. It was perfect.

Lovely quiet hotel, friendly staff, great location with a fabulous breakfast. Happy to recommend.

Lovely small hotel, minutes away from the historical site of Ephesus (by car). The owner is a very friendly outgoing man who loves to discuss, to share expériences and provide tips and tricks about things to visit along the Turkish coast. We met him at his nearby art shop and were a little worried we would feel pressures to buy but that was not the case. He shared his love of art and didn’t expect anything in return. The beds and pillows were the most confortable and we slept really well. There were big blankets and heating in the room. The breakfast was very nice and included eggs prepared to taste. We visited in April and had breakfast in the lovely hotel lobby as it was stilll a little too chill for the terrace. We only stayed one night but would have enjoyed staying a little longer !

great location, local, walkable, close to everything! The staff was AMAZING and helpful in every way!! They did everything possible to make this trip safe, fun, and really special!! So grateful!! nothing!

Great location. Staff was kind. Hard to find. A sign on the door would be incredibly helpful. Luckily I was dropped by a driver who spoke Turkish and could ask around. Had I arrived by metro and walking, I would have had a hard time finding it. The entrance is a single dark glass door. For the price a decent deal for a very simple room.

The Nilya is very homey thanks to the two owners, who went the extra mile (literally) to make our visit comfortable and efficient. Every morning they would ask what our plan was for the day and help make arrangements. One drove us to Ephesus (about 5 miles away) and later picked us up. That was a huge help. We loved the little courtyard, where we had a very full breakfast every morning. The location is an easy walk to the town center, but far enough away to feel removed from the tourist center, and very close is a really excellent pizza restaurant. If you like/love cats, this is a great place to stay since the neighborhood has many that wander around. If allergic you may want to find rethink visiting Turkey! The rooms are a bit small, but absolutely fair for the price.

This property is incredible, the staff goes above & beyond to make sure you have an exceptional experience. The breakfast is fabulous & they offer tea all day long. The location is amazing, the beds are comfortable and the shower is incredible. So hot & the water pressure is amazing! Everything about this hotel is a 10, I stayed here twice during my time in Turkey & will absolutely come again!

Staying at Nilya hotel was like staying with family. We had some issues with our bus transport so we arrived at Selcuk at around 2 AM in the morning. But Erdal and Namzi made sure that there was someone to open the gates for us and help us get settled in our rooms before checking in the next day. The rooms were big and had authentic Turkish decor. The beds were also big and comfortable. Breakfast every day was delicious! We had a choice on how to get the eggs cooked and coffee was always fresh. There was Simit, all kinds of jams and all kinds of fruit. The courtyard where breakfast was served was beautiful with all the native flowers and plants. Namzi took the time to drive us to and from Ephesus and also arranged our transport to the House of the Virgin Mary. We also got to tour Namzi's shop and even bought an authentic Turkish carpet at a reasonable price. All in all, we greatly enjoyed our stay at Nilya hotel! Thanks Erdal, Namzi and all your staff for your hospitality! There was no hot water heater or refrigerator in the room. But it should be easy to check with the front desk if you need assistance with getting hot water or need something refrigerated.
