Clean Nothing

The hotel building is completely new, so it is very clean, and everything works in the rooms. We were pleased that the muezzin was practically inaudible in the rooms at night. The design in hotel is stylish minimalism a la IKEA. Minimalism is evident in everything, right down to the amount of shampoo that the dispenser dispenses. The room really needs a refrigerator, especially in this heat. After all, you want to cool not only the water that is in the cooler in the hall, but also other drinks. The main problem of the hotel is low Wi-Fi. It disconnects all the time and needs to be reconnected every time. In addition, after we left the hotel, he blocked our connection to the Internet via a SIM card. I had to reboot the phone.

The location is great, the room is quite small but comfortable and clean, and the water heater works. Overall, it was great to stay here for me, especially for rest and transit. I didn't expect too much from the facilities in a budget hotel.

The hotel was clean, and its location was perfect. Plus, there were lot of food choices nearby for both breakfast and dinner, all just a short walk away from the hotel. 1). Hotel WiFi: The WiFi here is just awful. When we arrived and tried to connect our laptop, it just wouldn't work. I reached out to them on WhatsApp with a video to show the issue, but they didn't respond. Next morning, my husband tried the same, both messaging and going to reception, but it was like talking to a brick wall. They just kept asking for our room number without solving the issue. After lunch, we tried again, only to be told that the engineers were unavailable. Short story, they offered to switch our room from 201 to 301, but even in the new room, the WiFi was painfully slow. We were too exhausted to keep complaining. 2). Working Desks: They have working desks, but no power plugs underneath, which is pretty inconvenient if you're trying to work. I wouldn't recommend this place if you need good WiFi or a decent workspace. 3). Access Card: We were there for 3 nights, and every afternoon after 12 pm, we had to go back to the reception to get our access card renewed because it wouldn't let us into our room. It was such a hassle - going up and down like that wasted a lot of our time.

Even though I did not put any sign of "clean my room" at the door, the staff cleaned my room. The place is located in a very strategic area where much culinary is found near hotel. The room seems to be not soundproof as it is close to the road. It may be disturbing for those who are noise sensitive.

Stayed for 3 days and got the best experience ever! The staffs are kind, fast on respond, and make sure our stay is comfortable. Surely will going back to this hotel if we ever visit Semarang again!
