Good location and free breakfast. Staff are very unprofessional. The guy working brought his girlfriend for the night and they were intimate in the room all night long! The bathrooms are inside the dorm room and so there is a terrible smell all the time. The toilets do not flush! You have to dump water from a bucket!

Great waterfront location, and close to almost all basic facilities (eg 24hrs convenient store with ATM is just downstairs) Hard to find fault with this property, at that price

Very close to the pier and most dive/snorkel shops. Great for a night before/after an island hopping trip. Private cubbies for each bed with a universal plug and individual lights in each cubby. Immaculately clean bathroom/sink area, no peeling paint or cracks in the walls. Shower pressure was abysmal, but the place was immaculately clean and made with relatively new materials. Top many beds in one space, I counted at least 24 and only separated by a closing door. A lot of people are just coming for a night and therefore wake up very early and were not respectful of the noise and conversation level at 6am.

The showers weren’t working properly for my stay

Most of the staff was just hanging around while there were plenty of opportunities to clean up the facility to improve the experience. Staff did not set boundaries for other guests using the bathroom to prepare fish and seafood and using the tiny common area as a kitchen with the stoves they brought with them.

Pods are large. No water at sinks to wash hands. Toilets only flush with scoop bucket. Complimentary breakfast is a joke (loaf bread with a toaster). Semi-helpful staff. Had to ask for my towel & blanket. They also require holding 50RM cash for a reason they can not explain.

Very nice staff, well maintained facility. I don't normally like dorms because they're stuffy and you don't have privacy. But these are almost like capsules, so I could go out or withdraw whenever I wanted.

It's not clean, the rooms are close to the reception, very noisy, the announced breakfast is not really a breakfast, is a toaster and some coffee. Bit didn't see any bread. The bathrooms were not clean at all and they don't have flush. No blankets are provided, just towels and you need to ask for them. Despite the MYR 50 deposit they ask.

The owners were lovely and the lady on the desk when we arrived let us check in early (even though we said we were happy to just drop bags off). The beds were really comfortable, just needed to ask for a towel and blanket- they'd forgot to give them to us when we checked in, but easily rectified! The breakfast was nice; food from the bakery, bread for toasting, and some fresh fruit as well as tea. Free drinking water available was brilliant! The aircon and fans were good and the showers were decent too. Good value for money considering how cheap it is. Maybe some polite notices reminding people to stay quiet in the dorms between the hours of 10pm-8am, or something like that. Another guest was listening to music and talking on his phone until about 12 and then as soon as he woke up about 6am. One of the owners did talk to him, which we appreciated, but he carried on after they'd left. Some hand soap available at the taps would be great!

Friendly staff, breakfast was decent with local food and 3-in-1 instant Nescafe coffee, and great location. Dirty stained bedsheets and pillow case, very dirty in area between mattress and wall. No lockable storage lockers, very low water pressure and no Wi-Fi.
