SEOUL FOREST STAY - Hostel

We stayed here for a week while traveling for a conference, and it was a great central location for getting to the convention center and also exploring the city. It's located very close to both Seong-su and Seoul Forest itself, which we enjoyed exploring in the evenings, and it's also right by the train going to Myeong-dong and Hong-dae. The facilities were very clean, and the host Richard was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a bit small and limited, but we spent all our time in the city anyway so this wasn't a big issue. There is a bit of noise as expected from a hostel-type stay but nothing too bad.

The location is good, close to the metro and in walking distance you can go to Seongsu. The beds were comfortable. The key with some instructions was on the front desk since we arrived at night. The beds were very close, not that separation space that was on the photos. The bathroom has some black mold in some walls. The description said the room had a kitchen and micro, but it's the hostel that has it, not the room. The room didn't have a window with city views...not window at all. The room was on a third floor without elevator so it was difficult with the luggage. Since we arrived after 9 pm, we couldn't find an open restaurant around the hostel so we ended up eating at a convenience store like 3 blocks away

The rooftop was perfect place to relax and having quality time with myself. The place beyond perfect, theres nothing i don’t like at all.

Richard is a real genune person who can help, assist on any topic. And the place is amazing, clean and quiet.

Great location, welcoming and helpful staff. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Lots of road noise. Common areas were pretty dirty. Needs a deep clean.

I hope there was a easier way to deal with the big luggage, no elevator so I had to bring it to the 3rd floor.

It’s my 3rd time coming back to stay here. The owner he is super friendly and helpful. We booked a room of 3 for 2 of us since there was no available room at the moment but then after request he gladly support and we could move the room after only 1 night. The hotel only 3-5 mins away from the station and we can go anywhere around Seoul with 1 straight train or with only 1 transfer.

The staff is friendly and the area is accessible to two subway stations. Convenience store, mini store, coffee shops, and Olive Young is around the area. The place is kept cleaned every day and the amenities are refilled every morning. Nothing.

Richard is very nice, trying to help and solve all the issues. Location Window view to trees Bathroom needs to be repaired asap Soundproofing is really low, sounds from street and from visitors that coming in and out all night disturbed at night

the guy was very helpful and explained everything. Free plugs for your iPhone. Could install an elevator instead of the stairs.

Amazing location, lots to do, vibrant and the Seoul Forest closeby! The host was very friendly :)

Richard was fantastic. He introduced the neighborhood in detail and with passion. He also recommended us a great local restaurant! Definitely a great place to stay : )

Good value for Seoul Nothing major. Adding a shelf for the bunk beds would be nice

Many toiletries were available to use or borrow. The bathroom is a bit cramped.

Owner is a very nice guy and very helpful about anything Unfortunately the showers and the amenities like shampoos etc were not on the level I expected, also the beds makes so much noise when you even move an inch , other than that it was a nice place to stay I’d stay again

Staff were friendly and caring. They spoke good English and were available when needed. The mattress was rather thin and not supportive.
