Exceptional setting and peaceful location. Well-equipped and nicely decorated room. Comfortable bed. The cleaning of the room is barely adequate for a 3-star hotel. Unsatisfactory catering: forget the oysters and bottle of wine in a bucket as shown in the photo. Canteen buffet available for €21 per meal. Breakfast (self-service) lacks choice and quality. The pastries are industrial and defrosted. Savoury side: ham, sliced industrial cheese and boiled eggs. The later you arrive, the less choice there is. (Breakfast from 7.30am to 9.30am). It's a shame that the incredible potential of this place is not showcased in the kitchen.

Two cyclists. Staff helpful and found a safe place for our bikes. Room was quiet and comfortable. Grounds and access to beach was great. Some areas of buildings had rubbish - eg in stairwells. It was a busy time though.

Lovely room with great view and good facilities. Lovely buffet style breakfast included. One of the reception staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Good price negotiated on a second night when we extended our stay. Lovely town and plenty to see within walking distance. The room was meant to be cleaned for our extended stay but only the towels were changed despite contacting reception. Single beds only were available. Good parking can can be very busy when events are on.

Exceptionally nice staff. This hotel is a centre for school kids and parties to stay. but don’t let that put you off. the rooms are modern and the environment very natural. We are OK with it, but there were a lot of school kids staying there…
