Nice room, good location

We stayed a week in a classic double room with terrace (large balcony). This is the best two star hotel we have stayed in. The staff was very polite, friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean and just large enough to comfortably spend a week. The hotel is in excellent condition. Large, double-glassed windows and doors to the balcony let in light but, together with the rolling shutters, helped minimize street noise. The French breakfast served in a nice setting was plentiful and a good value, and fresh fruits were set out every day. This well-run hotel is a great example of how a basic, two-star hotel can outclass many of the poorly-run and indifferent three-star hotels on the market.

Clean, comfortable, friendly helpful staff. Flexable booking in time, accommodated our bike, nice close restaurant. Great breakfast. Excellent value for money. A little noisy from other guests. One one coffee each in bedroom. No shower products.

Everyone at the reception was kind and friendly. Rooms were basic but comfortable, and zero complaints about the water pressure and bathroom. Location wise, there are very few eating places around but a carrefour and a private supermarket just steps away. Or it is about 30 minute walk to the city centre but since we went during a non peak period, we chose to drive down 5 minutes since parking was relatively easy.

Busy place which is a good sign. The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. We had breakfast once only because we like to go out. It was very good. Our room was cleaned and tidied every day. The hotel was in a great situation, shops and cafes around about. The number 3 bus goes straight into town. We loved Sete. I’m glad we found it. Can’t think of anything important.
