Colectia Hotel Santa Lucia

The location of the hotel was really amazing. It was close enough to walk to all the attractions but also far enough from the noisy of the central part of the city to rest at night. The room was very comfortable and clean. The TV has enough channels not that we spent much time in the room but it was good a catch a few minutes of some World Cup matches. When we arrived we found a lovely hand written note on the bed with some local favourites and that was a very thoughtful touch. The staff was also very warm and welcoming, We would stay here again for sure. There was no bar fridge in the room which felt like an oversight especially with the heat of a Spanish summer. Complementary flavoured water was provided at the reception which was good but it wasn't cold either. The property also does not have a pool which I should have checked better for when booking but it would have been a nice to the option to have a pool to cool off rather than just having to take a shower.

Quiet location, comfortable, nice staff, and I loved the sangria & cheese available each evening.

There were jam and local dessert with a hand writing card welcome us. It’s special and the sweet and tea in are available in the lobby. The roof top is close at night so we had no chance to visit

The atmosphere was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. Really nice bathroom. The pool was a dream. Too far away to walk, but the staff would call us a taxi when we wanted to leave.

Lovely staff, Eduardo gave us great advice on check in. Location is good approximately a 20 min walk to the River front. Comfortable room cleaned daily. The area is off the main road so no traffic noise. Slight noise from the room above in the early hours of the morning. Only Continental breakfast option however enough cafes in the area to eat in.

Lovely small hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. They made us feel extremely welcome. Maybe a bit far from centre if you don’t mind a decent walk.

It is a very clean hotel. The espresso machine with tea, coffee in the morning and sangrias in the evening in the lobby is very nice. The small garden area is nice as well. We stayed at 6 different hotels over 2 weeks in Portugal and Spain and this was the most disappointing for its value. We paid a significantly higher price because of the annual fair (la Feria) which put hotel rooms in high demand. But this hotel is about 15-20 minute drive from the old town area and the la feria area - basically quite far from most common sight seeing places. The room rate should have been much lower therefore but it was not!! AND, this is the only hotel of the 6 we stayed at that charged for the mediocre continental breakfast at €14 per person, per day. For a group of 4 that added up very quickly. There are some small cafes within walking distance which would be a much better way to spend your money for breakfast than here. The rooms are very small with absolutely no space to store, let alone open larger suitcases. And, there is no nightstand on either side. So you end up placing your devices to charge on the floor!!!
