A very nice hotel, beautifully decorated and ideally located, offering lovely views of the surrounding area. The thoughtful touches for our children were much appreciated. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, impeccably clean and well-equipped.

The location was perfect, so near yuyuan garden. The staff was so kind, pleasant and helpful. The hotel was so beautiful and comfortable. The toilet is great with automated bidet. The view is so beautiful. Suggest to add more storage space for clothes, things and luggage inside the room.

Breakfast options and proximity access to subway Air condition on the room 12992 and 12993 are producing heat air instead of cool air. I've asked hotel engineers to look at the issue and he couldn't figure out why. In the end, I stay for 6 nights in a hot room (27C) not comfortable at all for sleeping. Would have been great if the reception let me know in advance during check-in about the AC. I do not recommend guest to stay in these 2 rooms until the fix the issue. Language barrier is also a hindrance because the hotel receptionist didn't seem to understand the heat issue that I experienced.

the location is very good. close to The Bund and other attractions. room was big I stayed here with my mother earlier this month and unfortunately it was the most unpleasant part of our trip to Shanghai. At check-in, the receptionist named “Summer” told us that the room we had booked did not have a window and that we “would not be able to breathe.” He then offered to upgrade us for an additional £20 to a room with a window. When we questioned this, as the photos of the room we booked clearly showed a window, he stated that instead of a window there would be a wall and no air. The interaction lasted around 30 minutes and his tone throughout was dismissive and rude. We eventually paid simply to end the conversation. We also noticed other guests receiving welcome or goodbye gift bags, while we received nothing and were given no information about the hotel or facilities. The entire experience at reception felt unwelcoming and transactional. A front desk experience sets the tone for a stay, and unfortunately this one negatively affected our impression of both the hotel and the city.

Clean and nice friendly staff! Breakfast was good too (we chose to pay for 3 days only)! We did the "free" photoshoot (only up to 6 pics for us) but end up buying a package because the pics were so good! We also went for a night walk at yuyuan with their guide and find it very informative (Thank you to the guide, George!) My only gripe is the sensor at the door. When i went out to do laundry at night and came back, the sensor will automatically switch on the foyer and one of the light above the bed. Not very helpful when i have kids sleeping. Also like everyone's review, the aircon does not seem to be working very well (stuffy and not cold). Luckily we chose the balcony terrace room so i just opened the window slightly.

Location Not clean . Bathroom layout . Lobby at 7 floor felt like staying in a neighborhood hotel . Ac not working we were lucky to be booking in a cold weather.

Location is great, walkable to the Bund and Yu garden, lots of food choices ! The Laundry Room, free of charge activities organized by the Hotel are super plus point.

Amazing location, short walk to yuyuan garden and old town, metro 100m away, and the breakfast was top notch. All staff super friendly and helpful, gym was great and clean. Nothing, amazing place
