Location Based on my experience, I cannot rate the hotel higher than four stars, despite its five-star classification. Its standout feature is its excellent location, but the service level falls short of that rating. Upon arrival, there was no assistance with luggage, and the check-in process was not smooth; one of the rooms wasn't ready, and we were asked to check on its status ourselves rather than being notified when it was prepared. Furthermore, the lobby does not reflect the standard of a luxury hotel in terms of design or organization; the smell of food and restaurant supply carts constantly passing through the reception area negatively impacted the overall impression. The rooms are spacious, but the bed was uncomfortable, and the showerhead and hairdryer were in need of maintenance or replacement. We also requested an extra bed, which I suspect may have been infested with bedbugs, as the person who slept in it woke up with numerous bites; I strongly advise the hotel to investigate this. Room service was also substandard; on one occasion, the sheets were not changed, and when we contacted staff, they brought new linens but asked us to change the bed ourselves—and one of the sheets was torn. Despite these issues, I would like to thank David from the concierge team; he was extremely helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Overall, while the hotel boasts a great location, the level of service and attention to detail does not align with a five-star rating.

Club Access Breakfast downstairs provided numerous hand excellent choices. Traditional High End Conrad Experience “not felt”. Quality of bed and furniture, and in particular the washroom area, not up to par with other Conrad Hotels we stayed at. Elevators were cumbersome! It felt like a 4 star hotel which was disappointing. ?

Bathrooms were not as clean as I hoped. Shower head was clogged and water pressure was low. Bedroom and bathroom fixtures were old and creaky.

We had a fantastic stay at Conrad Shanghai. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a beautiful room, which made our stay even more special. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, right next to the main shopping areas and within easy walking distance of many attractions. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. The staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

the staff espcialy a girl at the reception named aria was amazing kind and attentive offered a gift ordered a taxi for me to the airport, insisted on acomponiyng me and helped me with a package ....workers like that change a bad stay into a good one ! I was on the 43rd floor and my stay was nothing like last year when I had a magnificent time, the shower has been leaking under the floor and water was coming out through the floor wood panels ( u have a problem with the shower sealant or drainage) I did not inform the staff since I only had 2 nights and did not want to pack again and move but it really effected my stay wet socks all the time .... I put towels on the floor and started showering in the tub instead. I informed the staff upon my checkout for future guests.....
