Our stay at this hotel in Shanghai was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, luxurious, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, elegant, and perfectly located, but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the staff. Thanks to Judy from the reception, she was one of the best! We never felt more welcomed in a hotel like this one. Thank you guys! This will be our destination everytime Nothing

No air conditioning control. It was set up at 25 degrees..and the hotel said it can't be modified. Very rough to sleep for me in that temperature.

I would like to sincerely thank Melody for offering us a later check-out, which was handled in an exceptionally smooth and efficient manner. The process was straightforward and completed without any unnecessary or lengthy discussion, reflecting her professionalism and respect for the guest’s time. Although I was prepared to proceed with the payment, Melody proactively waived the fee and arranged the late check-out free of charge. This thoughtful gesture was a perfect move on her part and left a very positive impression on us. Her decisive action, customer-oriented mindset, and genuine hospitality truly enhanced our overall experience. The hotel needs a complete renovation.

Holiday Inn was nice! I had to add more nights before checking in and they conveniently add the nights in, didn't make a fuss about it. the key didn't work on the day when I asked the front desk, she mentioned rudely because I added more nights, but she took care of the problem right away. On the day of check in, staff was really nice, gave map and directions to all the different attractions. Recommended some good food around. when we checked out, our wifi automatically got disconnected but we had to order didi taxi so one of the front desk staff, gave us another wifi access. Location wasn't conveniently located to any major attractions but there are small restaurants all around, so food wasn't any problem. Family Mart is next to the lobby so whenever we were hungry, we can just grab any food or drink. It's not on the cheaper side but we did get what we paid for. Location wasn't close to any attractions. That one staff that was rude but everybody else was really nice.

We had a great stay: the staff are welcoming and professional; the breakfast was amazing; and we used the laundromat, gym, swimming pool, and luggage storage service -- all free of charge. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the city center. We used the pay-per-ride bikes to get to every place we wanted to visit, and it was surrounded by good restaurants where we could meet up with friends. The walk by the river was very nice! The facilities are a bit dated - new towels and a new treadmill would be nice, and the restaurant could use some new chairs.

We are family with 2 kids (13 and 15). We booked a room with 1 king+bunk bed. It’s comfortable for our family. There’s Family mart on 1st floor. Big room for family of 4. Family mart on 1st floor.

Love the location, close to metro line 7 at changshou Rd station. Staff were very good and ro was big and spacious. Got a free breakfast cos it was my fast stay. Highly recommended

The hotel is in poor condition, the furniture is old and damaged, the beds are terribly uncomfortable. The linen is clean. The windows in the room and in the breakfast area are very dirty. The plates in the dining room are in poor condition. The staff's clothes are very dirty at breakfast. The terrace is untidy. The water in the small pool on the terrace is very dirty. The location is bad. It is far from the center. There is a carpet at the entrance to the elevators and it is very difficult to carry a suitcase on it. Not 4 stars, probably 2.
