Luxury barely within reason. Lovely bath bomb. Great food and drinks. The cafe was a bit smelly at times, close to a public bathroom. Some of the activities were not available despite being advertised as being available, and there were no attempts to make up for the lack of activities, like the perfume sachets or the newsletters.

Love the nostalgia of living in old shanghai. Staff are friendly and dedicated. Front desk staff Ethan is exceptional. Paid attention to our requests, assisted in restaurant bookings. Housekeeping staff and porter services friendly and initiative. Breakfast atmosphere/ambience excellent. Service was very good too. Poached eggs very good and pastissieries excellent. Shanghainese breakfast menu not too good. Highly recommend to stay with the western menu as it was excellent.

Exceptional hotel in every aspect, what stood out the most for us was the brilliant customer service. Every hotel employee was willing and capable to help (for example a lady helped me to post a package, and another helped me to order a new suitcase). It just felt fantastic to stay at a place that values you as a guest! The hotel is truly wonderful, i will certainly come back again.
