Location is perfect I remember that I booked with breakfast and they told me not

Super courteous staff. They clean the room every single day and give water. Excellent location, close to bus stops and subway. Very big shower cabin, there's always hot water. For the price which is moderately cheap the hotel is awesome! The wi-fi didn't work for me, they said It's probably bacause my phone is foreign and I had to use my mobile data. The bathroom door wasn't fully closable, it had a 1.5 cm crack on the hinge side and anyone walking past it could see inside. Also the bathroom didn't have a lock, so not much privacy overall, but this could have been just for the single bed rooms. The window was very tiny, although I appreciate the presence of one, because some rooms didn't have it.

I spent 7 nights at this Hanting Hotel and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Location is very good, a short walk from the next Metro station. The room was quiet, there are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers in the lobby which one is free to use. I did not try breakfast, so I cannot comment on it. There is an elevator and a 24-hour reception. The staff was friendly but hardly spoke any English. Honestly, for a hotel which advertises on booking and therefore gets reservations from foreigners, there should be at least someone or some contact, who speaks some English. Communication was very difficult and some of the staff even were adamant to not even try.

The location is perfect. You can go to the Shanghai center (the bund) within 30 mins (public transportation) or 10-15 mins (taxi) The room is ok but I think it's quite small for 3 people. I think another bigger room will be more comfortable. But the staff are really nice. The internet is not really good, but I guess it's the common issue when visiting China. I can't log in my Facebook, google,...

It's near Pudian Station of Line 8. Line 4 is also a bit of a walk further but still very convenient. I booked a small room with no windows but it was spacious enough for a solo traveller. There are many restaurants nearby so you have a variety of choices. Staff is very friendly and helpful too.

The hotel is in downtown. The Pudian metro station is just walkable distance . The location has so many shops and restaurants. Actually we had a bad experience regarding the taxi booking . I asked one staff with eye glasses to book a taxi to go SNIEC exhibition. She told me 100RMB to go there . But when I booked the taxi from outside , the taxi driver charges me only 25RMB . So she told me 75RMB extra. So we downloaded DiDi taxi app. They were really helpful. We can book our taxi by our self. Also the breakfast, please make it intercontinental as so many other nationalities also coming to stay there . All food was Chinese cuisine .

We were very happy with our stay. It was a convenient location near a metro and lots of local restaurants around. The cleaning staff was so friendly and even helped my daughter to carry her suitcase down the hall when we were checking out. This was very attentive and kind of them. They always made sure we had everything we need in our room. The room was big enough for us and we were very happy with the excellent price since most of Shanghai was very expensive. The room felt very modern and we liked that very much. The bathroom was also very modern. It was a short metro ride to the main city center. We were overall happy with our stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful but you will need to be able to speak Mandarin to get the max level of service. Just pointing and doing phone translations will only get you so far. Definitely ask them to make coffee for you each day. They have a coffee machine in the lobby that you either can pay for the drinks with Wechat/Alipay .. or ask the staff to make it for you for free. We paid for the buffet breakfast -- the normal price is 25CNY but if you have a China phone number, you can install the Hanting app to be a "points member" and get the breakfast for 16.5CNY. (If you don't read Chinese, the staff can do the signup for you on your phone.) They change the breakfast slightly everyday so it's a good bargain to fill up your stomach before heading out to visit Shanghai. Otherwise, just trying to find a different breakfast everyday will cut down on how much time you have. There are a lot of local restaurants nearby but I'd say the quality of the food is not as good as some of the "well known" places. However, it's much cheaper. For example, a well known place will give you a rated 10 Xiao Long Bao for 30CNY for 8. Meanwhile the local restaurants here charge 8-10CNY for 8 XLB but the taste/quality is about a 6. If your room has a window facing the inside courtyard, keep the windows closed. People go into the courtyard to smoke and your room will stink up if you open the windows. ( Don't be afraid to ask to swap rooms. ) The location is near Pudian Station which is not on a busy line so you will need to transfer to Century Ave Station every trip out. If you are taking metro to/from the airports, the nearest entrance does not have escalators going down so dragging luggage will be a hassle. ( I think I saw both up & down escalators at a more distant metro entrance connected to the Century Mart supermarket but can't be sure. )
