Location was next to famous river and was close to shopping malls. I enjoyed my stay over there. Thank you.

Staff spoke minimal English, but tried to help when they could. Great location (10-15min to The Bund, Yu Yuan), secure, great cheap rate. Welcoming to me, an American. 88 ???????? ???? is the actual location, not what they currently have listed. It also shows it on Google Maps, not Apple Maps. (On Apple Maps it showed as "BINJIANG MINGRENYUAN BUILDING 2".) From PVG Airport, take Metro Line 2 to Century Ave and transfer to Metro Line 9 to Xiaonanmen, the closest station to the hostel (costs about 1 USD). Then walk north on Zhonghua Rd (about 10-15 min) till you get to a gate that in big letters next to it says 88 Zhonghua. Once at the address, there are 6 huge residential buildings. ?? ?? ???????? ?, ????? ??, ???? ????. Building 2 is the northernmost building closest to Zhonghua Rd. The numbers are outside the doors, but you'll likely need a resident's help to go inside as they require an electronic key, i.e. a key fob, to open. Once there, the staff can get you all checked in with your passport, you pay with AliPay, and they should give you the key fob and door codes inside the hostel. I attached some photos to help direct you, both Google Maps and Apple Maps. I recommend screenshotting these instructions for later. Wanted to share this info so no one else can have the same issues I did. Good luck

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent and is near metro stations and popular tourist attractions. The view from the building is fantastic as it is situated in a high-rise building. The homestay is difficult to locate, and it took me some time to figure it out since it's hard to ask for directions because the locals do not speak English.

The location was good, but hard to find initially. The aircon was good. The description wasn't true. When we arrived, having booked a one bedroom apartment plus a female bed in a room, we were shown to a hostel room with bunk beds for all 3 of us to stay in, for the same price. They told us the one bedroom apartment we booked wasn't available. After a long time negotiating using a translation app (they didn't speak English), we decided to stay for one night as it was getting late and decided to make other arrangements for the other nights. This is just not what you want to be doing after a long trip. They then cancelled the booking as a no-show, so we couldn't leave a review until we asked booking.com. They told us to pay directly to them for the one night. There were no basic things like toilet tissue or handsoap and the two toilets didn’t close at the same time.... I rarely leave a bad review but this place needs to have a long hard look at what it's doing.

Views and the owner, she was really nice and kind No toilet paper, water dropping in the middle of corridor, no lockers. Difficult to find, further navigation information would be helpful.

The location was outstanding - close to tourist sites, metro, and food markets. And although the room was very simple, it was quiet, comfortable, spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Initially I thought I was renting an apartment but soon learned it was a private room and bath in a hostel which I generally avoid due to the possibility of loud parties and "pub crawls". But all of the people were very quiet and I soon realized that my fears were unfounded in China.

Place is super near to THE BUND, and people are chill. Location on Booking.com is not correct actually and we don’t know Chinese for using BAIDU maps so we had some difficulties but anyways it is okay.
