Our stay at the Raffles Hotel Shenzhen was exceptional from start to finish and truly reflected the high standards associated with the Raffles brand. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. Every staff member we encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing a first-class guest experience. The rooms were beautifully appointed, spacious, and luxurious, offering both comfort and elegance. One of the highlights was the spa bath overlooking the Shenzhen skyline, which provided a relaxing and memorable experience, particularly in the evening with the city lights on display. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options catering to different tastes and preferences. The Long Bar on the 71st floor was another standout feature of the hotel. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet welcoming, and the cocktails were expertly crafted, making it the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the spectacular views. Dining at Yun Jing Cantonese Restaurant on the 70th floor was equally impressive. The food was beautifully presented, authentic, and full of flavour, delivering a memorable dining experience in a stunning setting. Overall, Raffles Shenzhen exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the exceptional service and luxurious accommodation to the outstanding dining and bar experiences, it was a truly memorable stay that we would highly recommend. On the day of my birthday, my wife informed the hotel about the occasion, and the staff immediately went above and beyond to make the day special, preparing a surprise celebration in our room—completely free of charge. When I entered the room, I was delighted to see a beautifully decorated setup with balloons, a lovely birthday cake, and a thoughtful handmade card. Two wonderful staff members, Leo and Daria, took the time to personalize the experience, making it feel truly special and memorable. Their kindness and willingness to create this surprise at short notice showed a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. The room itself was impeccably clean, adding to the luxurious and comfortable ambiance. The view from our room was breathtaking, and the cake was delicious, adding the perfect touch to a remarkable day. Breakfast was excellent. On the last day of our stay (Sunday 28 July), we had to queue up for about 20mins when we came for breakfast at 10:00am which was disappointing.
