Beautiful and clean property with friendly host. Very close to cliffs of Shirahama and takes a short bus ride to the Shirahama beach

The hostel is located on the quiet side of Shirahama, yet conveniently accessible by bus, and within a short walk to Sandanbeki. The owner takes great care of each every guest and the place down to details. It’s comfortable and clean everywhere in the house. I enjoyed my stay very much. Nothing

This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner is extremely hospitable . He made everything easy . It was incredibly clean and everything was easy to find and use. I loved it here! Nothing!

The guesthouse is close to the scenery site and 1 minute walk to the bus stop. It has everything you need. The kitchen is convenient for the guests to use.

My dream home would look like this. Would definitely come back again. It’s so homey and clean. Have everything you can think of! Room is so quiet and comfortable, spacious. Have our own kitchen as well! Loved the green theme bathroom.

Friendly and helpful owner. All standard amenities are provided for free. Laundry is 200 yen for washing and 100 yen for drying per 30 minutes. There is a clothes rack for hanging clothes, and in the room, there is also a retractable clothesline. The guests were respectful during my stay, so there was no noise during the night. The stores nearby are closed after the evening, but can buy food at the guesthouse. Nothing.

The host is very nice and helpful. The unit is clean and tidy. Complete facilities for travellers. Beds are comfortable and the environment is very quiet. For this cost, I am very satisfied. I will definitely book it again if I come to this place in future. Nothing.

Great location, accessible by bus and close to Sandabeki Cave. Staff was really friendly. Great facilities: there is a retractable clothes line in the room so you can still do laundry when weather is bad. The room is very comfortable.

Exceptional

We booked this place largely based on the pictures (the Showa era feel) and the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and our expectations were exceeded. This place has a lot of heart and charm, and is very well-equipped. Everything is set up with thought and care. Also very clean and comfortable. We recommend hiring a car for the Wakayama region, so you don't have to grapple with the public buses, especially if you have a lot of bags! Driving these roads is a breeze and it really opens up the area to you. Nothing that we didn't like.

It's very clean! Never expected a guesthouse to be this clean. It definitely has increased my expectations for all the other guesthouse that I'll be staying. And the price for the room, it's just fantastic. Keep it up! Because it's very hard for us to get a stay at this price. Wouldn't have come to such a beautiful place if this guesthoise didn't exist. Thank you very much for offering such a place for us! Although there are rules about noise and running, some guests just won't follow rules. Can't blame the guesthouse on this.

Location is very good — close to Sandanbeki, about 3 min walk. Service is excellent, and the owner (川口さん) is kind, friendly, and helpful.

Bus stop was right outside. Owner was so lovely and place was very cozy, homely and tidy.
