Fantastic stay for the family. The location was at top of the mountain and the view from the room down to the beach and ocean was excellent. Excellent public baths too with nice views to the beach and ocean. Buffet breakfast in the western restaurant serves both Japanese and Western food. There are two time slots which can be booked when checking in. A few dead insects in the room but probably inevitable due to the close location to nature.

Hotel provides shuttle bus service to and from JR station as well as some other attractions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Tasty foods are provided for both dinner and breakfast. View from room is excellent.

Beautiful room with spa on balcony. Great views from room. Considering the price, the fixed course breakfast served on two days out of four was below expectation. The hotel was almost empty for two days and then full for the next 2 days.

The staff is super nice and helpful! Japanese restaurant is super good and onsen is so relaxing! The only thing is that hotel is on the hill so needs to walk a bit to arrive.

Beautiful location with breathtaking view of the ocean and beach below. We came during shoulder season and we did not come for the beach so being up on a hill was perfect, away from the more crowded areas. The massage at the spa was very relaxing. Rooms were spacious. I had dietary requirements and the staff made sure everything was taken care of. At first glance outside the entrance, the hotel looked really lovely but inside, it was a bit run down. Wall panels were peeling off (see photos). Bathroom was very small. Some regular amenities were missing, eg there was no tissue, there was no desk with mirror. The day we checked out we saw a lot of repairmen come to do repairs so hopefully it will be done up before peak season

Amazing hotel with incredible views. Service was excellent. Room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The private outdoor bath was so relaxing. The public baths also offer an incredible view. The hotel itself is located in a fairly isolated area from the town, but they have a very convenient shuttle service that you can reserve to pretty much get to all of the big attractions in the area. They also come to pick you up from the train station and drop you off on your check out date. Amazing hotel and highly recommend. Just was not able to spend enough time here. Otherwise really do not have any issues with the hotel. Again, amazing hotel and comes highly recommended!

Hotel located on the hill, very nice view. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are great. Our room a bit far from reception area.

The grounds and onsen are very well maintained. The location atop the hill gives a stunning view. Though it's a bit out of the way, nevertheless the free shuttle service is very well organized. The atmosphere is absolutely relaxing. The buffet breakfast can have more varieties. Kaseiki dinner wonderfully presented, with emphasis on 'fish' which is good for sashimi lovers. Personally I would prefer to have more meat or different kinds of seafood.

The hotel is in a good location with a beautiful view Staff helped with shuttle bus to and from beach The bed was not comfortable. Pillows are very soft and not comfortable. Food at the restaurant was not great Breakfast was very basic

We had our breakfast in the restaurant with a beautiful scene. The breakfast is good with a variety of choices. Especially we love the honey (from local Japan) as offer in the breakfast buffet. Our family like the honey a lot. Also the Japanese style breakfast and the bread are all good. We are a bit disappointed with the dinner. We chose one Japanese style and one Italian style for 2 nights' stay. The taste is not as expected. Especially the fried fish we had for the Italian dinner which is not easy to eat by the kids. The location and services of both restaurants are good though.

Great view, onsen and restaurants. The rooms are old and dirty. Except for one super helpful man, the other male staff are pretty useless. They couldn't even follow their own schedule with cleaning.
