So clean, staff friendly, very relaxing, beautiful onsens, close to a bus stop and walking distance to most attractions!

Nice view Stiff and unnatural service, very ordinary dinner & breakfast

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is stunning, and everything was kept impeccably clean. The onsens were a highlight, especially the private natural onsen, which made the experience feel extra special. Thoughtful touches like complimentary drinks, onsen snacks, and late-night soba noodles added to the overall charm. One thing to note is that dining is limited to set breakfast and dinner, with no a-la-carte options available. Also not many restaurants around the area.

The whole experience is soothing and comfortable. From the interior design to the dining and Onsen experience, everything is great. You can truly relax by spending the whole day in the hotel. Start with the onsen experience, the enjoy their dinner meal, rest a bit in the room thereafter and enjoy onsen again. Outdoor, private and indoor onsen are all great, even the unisex onsen is great, and clothes are provided if you want to enter. Nothing at all

View , facilities and food The front desk staffs aren’t helpful enough. Especially a young lady staff was quite rude when we checked in.

The property is stunning I have treated rudely by one of the lady staff at the front desk

The water in the private baths could have been a bit hotter.

For more than a decade, this hotel had my favorite onsen baths in Shirahama. The view from the outside baths at sunset was spectacular. That’s why I am heartbroken at the way this hotel has seemingly gone downhill. The baths are now poorly maintained and not clean. The large rotenburo overlooking the ocean is discolored with large patches of dark brown (it no longer resembles the clean white rocks in the website photos) and slimy brown, black, and green mold can be spotted there and in/around the other baths. My western-style room in building 4 was also very basic, worn and falling apart. I would not choose to stay here again, and sadly would avoid the baths even for day-use until they start to clean them thoroughly again.

Beautiful setting, great design/architecture. Only one criticism: music (Muzak) nearly everywhere. I found themes like “My Way” and “If you wish upon a star” to be distracting, particularly in the hot Springs.

hot springs, massage, good view. friendly staff, authentic Japanese breakfast and dinner the bed is too low for me

The view , the family room onsens , the shower and bath in the room The other guests were pushy and the staff couldn’t manage it I guess idk I felt like a number at check in and that didn’t reflect the price paid. I guess after Covid the hotels unless very very good ones stopped giving out hot tea, hand towels , slippers, flowers etc .. idk I can feel the difference. The yukatas are too small for xl. I would say you Can not wear any of the samue or yukata if you’re xxl. If kyukamura can get big yukatas then so can everyone. I would recommend bigger sizes people to bring their own clean pajamas and clean easy to wear clothes for the onsen. The family room / private onsens are through a wooded area on stairs - and on a first come first grabbed key basis if you get my drift. They don’t work with reservations of time. Thankfully we could get it after waiting a bit.

Exceptional onsen on the sea, exceptional massage, large room very well equipped, partial sea view Average service level, bad English level except for the massage, external aspect of the building

I like location. I happy they have free private parking. It’s beautiful Onsen and I saw the Pacific Ocean. I like free snake in the afternoon. The most of staff can’t speak English much. So I can’t mail to hotel directly.

Loved everything about this hotel! Room with open-bath, helpful staff, private onsen (with ocean view) and a zen vibe made it a memorable stay
