I don’t recommend this property. It’s dirty, not well maintained, and my door wouldn’t close properly even when locking. I checked out after only 1.5 hours.

Hotel is in a quiet location. Great for relaxing with the rainforest view. The host is very kind and accommodating. Food is very good. Also don't forget to say high to Chulu. The hotel is a bit far from restaurants and shops, but the host can organise a driver for you. Stairs can be slippery when rain.

I liked the location, the view, the family was so friendly, the food was great! I didn’t like how they had no water fill up station to refill your water bottle. Every other place I stayed at in Bali offered this for free. So then we had to buy plastic which we didn’t like. If they are concerned about making money, they could just put a jar on top of the big water fill up with a donation of 3K to fill each time. Save the planet!! Our room’s AC did not cool off much and we were quite hot when we were trying to sleep.

Very nice and quiet place and the villa upstairs was very comfy and spacious with large bathroom . Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The room was spacious, but ours was a bit hard to reach (with luggage) due to some steeply stairs, and had a nice green decor/view. The owners are really kind and helpful and will try to make your stay as great as possible. Breakfast is served at your room or on the terrace near the pool. The bed is a bit hard, there is no water cooker in the room and their tea/coffee to order is a bit expensive, it is a little outside the city area where the main restaurants and hotels are, but a 30-minute will do.

The setting is beautiful. Do NOT book a STUDIO ROOM. It is a damp cave with water running down the walls and dripping onto the bed when it rains. Sheets damp, bathroom with slugs, toilet paper like mush.

Amazing location, really peaceful. The hosts are great, very friendly & welcoming. Gave some great recommendations. There is a cute river walk right out the front door! You can hear the river from the suite which is really nice. Nothing to note.

I don't recommend anyone coming here and have I have a waste the timing and actually the room is very dirty and too much animals in the Room he don't giving to other one and also you can please check in picture. We are the very different Room after other price

Staff was great, super friendly and always keen to help. Pool area was great. Location in middle of the jungle was so peaceful. Like some other people said, my room had a very strong humid smell and only one plug so you have to choose between charging your appliances or plugging the fridge. My bed wasn’t comfortable and a bit noisy. I agree on what some other customers said, it feels like this room has been done in a rush and hasn’t been finished properly. I reckon it was a bit overpriced for that kind of room. Other ones seem nicer. Location is far from the town and all the restaurants so if you’re not comfortable driving a motorbike, don’t book here.

Peace and quiet, surrounded by nature. Although nature make noise :) Great staff helping you out with everything you want. Great tastefull breakfast to start your day Deciding the breakfast time on the day before having breakfast.

Amazing location, felt like we were in the middle of the jungle but still easy to go everywhere. I walked in and not even 30 minutes later I already decided I wanted to extend my stay, fell in love with the villa at first sight. Everything was very clean and it had everything we wanted. The staff and owner were so helpful with the extra night and everything else. So peaceful and quiet, could’ve stayed here for weeks. Nothing.

Beautiful view from the terrace. You feel like sitting in a jungle and also near the temple. Very lovely and helpful staff and family.. They booked for me a trip to the beautiful tempel complex Pura Besakih. I recommend this special place for a great stay! X

Beautiful location. Far from everything, if you don’t have transportation. Nothing in walking distance, but they make breakfast and dinner on request. Bit expensive for what it is.

The personal of the hotel were the highlight of my stay at Astana Swaha. Everytime I arrived at the acommodation I was saluted with a warm “welcome home”. The setting was great - amazing view and extreme peace and quite. The included breakfast was good and the food they serve at the restaurant was very delicious and authentic. The room where I stayed didn’t have much light and it smelled a lot from humidity. The bath towels were smelling a lot too.
