The absolute highlight of this accommodation, however, is the staff. They were beyond kind, warm, and genuinely hospitable. Their level of care made all the difference. For those planning to visit Angkor Wat for sunrise, it’s helpful to leave around 4:45 am. The staff kindly arranged a tuk-tuk for us at a local price and even prepared breakfast boxes to take with us since the regular breakfast service started later. This thoughtful gesture was deeply appreciated and shows their attention to guests’ needs. If there is one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast experience. The selection was somewhat limited, and when we arrived about 15 minutes after the official start time, it was still being set up, with only a narrow choice available at that moment.

A special thank you to Mr. Meng, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We arrived much earlier than expected on a bus from Phnom Penh, and he kindly allowed us to check in three hours early, which we really appreciated. Since we had booked a sunrise tour the next day and wouldn’t be able to enjoy the included breakfast, Mr. Meng generously let us have breakfast on our day of arrival, even though breakfast wasn’t included for that day. We had to leave our room at 4:30 a.m. for the sunrise tour and officially checked out at that time, but when we returned around 1 p.m. to pick our things, he also offered to let us take a shower, even though the official check-out time had already passed. Outstanding service and hospitality – we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel! That we didnt plan enough time in Siem Reap :(

Super helpful staff, lovely pool and beautiful rooms. Really nice place to relax and rest from busy city life. Breakfast was little poor but nothing too bad to whine about.

Every square inch of this property is beautiful.

The property was absolutely lovely. The pool, the garden setting, and the artistic touches throughout created an inviting and tranquil ambience. We enjoyed several meals on the poolside patio of our room. I have no dislikes of the property itself. I would rate the hotel higher but there is room for improvement. A couple of times, the housekeeping staff missed some important details such as replenishing toilet paper when there was none left, and replacing wet towels that were on the floor. Not a show stopper as the front desk staff quickly responded to our requests to correct the situation. The other area of needed improvement is the serving of the food. The food was very good but, of the three breakfasts and one dinner we ate there, none were hot. The food was barely warm. The staff was so attentive and eager to please, I just didn’t have the heart to mention it after requesting the housekeeping corrections.

The hotel was very nice, comfortable and pretty. The pictures were accurate. It was a little bit out of town but it was very easy to get tuk tuks to take us. The only downside was that the staff didn’t seem to speak much English. We ended up getting delayed during our early check out due to a communication problem (so I’d recommend telling them in advance you are checking out early and settling the bill the night before.

Huge room looking out onto the beautiful pool area. Very comfortable bed with AC blowing directly on it and the best pillows we've had while travelling. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, the pool was perfect to refresh us after for the heat of the day and the garden was lush. The staff were always smiling and eager to help and the packed breakfast was good (and thoughtful). Lovely food (but see below). Small things let it down a little: The big problem for me was that there was no fridge in the room. This meant that I found it difficult to keep my medicine cool enough. To be fair, It was my fault, I didn't notice until after I checked in that the room was not advertised as having one and im sure the hotel would have stored the meds for me if I'd asked. However, I need the meds three times a day and feel happier if I have them to hand. Not an issue many people would have and I should have been more careful. There was no hairdryer in the room, I did request one but it didn't materialise. We ate dinner at the hotel a couple of times. The food was very good, however lots of things were not available. I seem to have been unlucky too, my satay turned out to be streak and chips and my stuffed chicken breast lacked any stuffing. Both were tasty though! There was an outside light at the rear of our room that we were unable to turn off. It shone into the room at night (even though we closed the curtains). One light at the side of the bed never turned off completely. Even though the switch was off, it remained on but dimmed. Very odd and a bit distracting when you're trying to get to sleep. The.only place to plug in the supplied kettle meant that the kettle had to be used on the floor, under the shelf provided for it.

Really nice and serene place, perfect for a relax getaway after a day spent in Angkor temples. Very quiet and relaxing, beautiful garden and pool area. To top all of that, the staff will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable:-) Very strongly recommended it!

the staff was my main takeaway from this place. they are all so friendly and professionals. the hotel itself is also very beautiful and so charming, room is very spacious and food delicious. because of the pool i suppose there are lots of mousquito which impacted a lot my stay. staff has been ver helpful to give products for the room but i could not enjoy really the pool. after few months travelling I was very excited to take bath unfortunately the bath itself was not very clean. effort in improving the balcony would be nice as it looks like it is not really taking care of.

The rooms are set around a lovely pool and garden area, which creates a peaceful, relaxing backdrop. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower worked well

Lovely, small pool and general design in the public area with lots of lush greener. The hotel had a friendly, helpful owner onsite a lot. The rooms are big and spacious with a bathtub, huge shower etc. The room had black mold on ceiling corner and some mold smell. The junior staff were very sweet but didn't really speak much English, communication was hard and many forgot our orders for food, drinks, massage appointments about 50-60% of the time. We had to repeat and re-book a lot.

Stepping off the street into this lush and beautiful property was so refreshing. The room was large and comfortable. The food was good. Best of all, the people who helped us find our way and took good care of us were the best. Nothing

We stayed at the Bunwin Siem Reap for three nights and it was a perfect base to do all the temple and town sight seeing. We loved the pool area where we had our breakfast that was great. There was also a place next door where they offered delicious and cheap meals. The hotel owner / manager and staff were very friendly. Overall we enjoyed staying here and relaxing around the pool very much. Sometimes the hotel staff wasn't that efficient / couldn't understand English very well but were all friendly :)
