Khemara Angkor Hotel & Spa

The hotel staff made me feel very special catering to every need. The hotel is very clean and the swimming pool is great. The gym was outdated and begs for new equipment . The mattress was a little hard and I prefer a softer one.

What I liked about the property was that the pillows and bed were very comfortable. I came here with my wife and our two daughters, one is 3 years old and the other is 3 months old. Both of my kids slept very well during our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, from the security guards to the receptionists and restaurant staff. Especially, the food I ordered to the room was delicious and worth the price. What I did not like was that the table near the window with the pool view did not have a light above it, so it was a bit dark at night. Also, the room rate for the first day was more expensive than the second day without any clear reason. If the price had been the same as the second day, it would have been more reasonable and good value, because the first day’s rate was a bit expensive.

many large hoteis in this area have closed because they closed down the airport and built a new one. This means that hotels like the Khemara Angkor price their rooms incredibly low for the standard of hotel. This place is five star all day. The breakfast is outstanding. The pool is great, and we went to the gym every day. It's a lovely twenty minute walk into town, or a dollar by Tuk Tuk. Literally, across the road is Pasta Corner, and a seven eleven. The staff are world class.

We had a wonderful stay at Khemara Angkor Hotel & Spa. The property itself is a bit dated but well maintained, with comfortable rooms and a nice overall atmosphere. What really stood out was the service, especially in the restaurant and bar. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and Sambo in particular made our experience memorable with his warm hospitality and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Siem Reap. Temps in the lobby and hallways (March) were a bit too warm without much A/C.

Very friendly staff(shout out to Sambo), comfortable and clean rooms, and a nice complementary breakfast all for a very reasonable price.

This is luxury hotel with all the amenities, that I usually can't afford but prices are cut because it's oversized and they have high vacancy. There's a huge hall, a beautiful grand stair case in solid exotic wood. The rooms are large and impeccably clean. The whole place is very quiet. After staying a few days you develop a personal rapport with the staff. They remember your name, your room number, your personal situation. They care about you. They freely talk about their lives and their daily challenges (like long hours, barely seeing their kids, etc). Every time you walk by, you get greeted with a big smile and the traditional Buddhist reverence. Breakfast is the best we've had in Cambodia. There's a huge selection of fresh fruit. Delicious fresh rice noodle soup. AC is a little loud. Not walking distance from downtown (if it was, price certainly would be higher). But that's a non-issue: tuktuk is $1, shows up in 5 minutes, and takes you downtown in 10 minutes.

And this most recent visit did not disappoint The staff at khemara were all friendly, professional and helpfull Particularly Mr Sambo Mrs Channey and Mrs Srei Prch Nothing that comes to mind

The omelets and fresh fruit were great! Its 5-10 min. from Pub Street and all the noise. Plenty of tuk tuk for ride to temples or pub street. The staff, ladies during the day Som Oun & Srey Pich and Nhien during the evening were very helpful & friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

Location is a little distant

The staff of the Khemara hotel really exceeded my expectations, always ready to help, from the moment of picking us up at the airport to making sure we will visit Angkor Wat on time in the morning, to the moment of dropping us off at the airport. Also they provided the hotel shuttle to drive us to the restaurant. Amazing hospitality of the whole staff, THANK YOU !!! Nothing.

The staff was superb! Probably the most attentive staff I have had at a hotel. A little dated, but nothing to be concerned about.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. You can easily walk to the river in about 20 minutes or take a Grab if you prefer. The rooms were cleaned daily and always spotless. We truly enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning, served in a pleasant atmosphere and surrounded by very kind and friendly people. Special thanks to Sambo and the entire team — from the gentleman at the front door, through the waiters and the chef, to the cleaning staff. The level of professionalism here is outstanding and something many European hotels could learn from. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay!
