Staff amazing. Fast/stable wifi. Room cleaned/towels changed/new water daily without asking. Beds and pillow super comfortable. Room size generous. Shower had hot water and good pressure (not electric). River, many restaurants, pharmacies, coffee/smoothie shops, cat cafe, barber, m/cycle rental (Grab better) and night market all very short walk. Quiet location, no noisy bars. Pub St. and Old Market easy walk. USP is the bath... Bath took ages to fill and too easy to accidentally drain it. Floor tiles showing lots of wear and discoloration. Very noisy a/c. Room overdue for some renovation. Breakfast had limited choice and only buffet at weekend.

That staff at King Rock were all helpful and friendly. Front Desk staff… day and night shift were always helpful, smiled, went out of their way to make me comfortable. The restaurant was good. Breakfast buffet had everything that I wanted. The restaurant staff were top notch. Always helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and refreshing. The pool staff was attentive and kept the entire area clean and inviting. The.room was spacious, TV was newer, smart tv with apps, chromecast, etc. The mattress was good. Between hard and soft … it right in the middle, maybe a bit toward hard. Did I mention how excellent the staff was? ? This is a hard one… king rock exceeded my expectations regarding the entire experience, it’s difficult to answer.

All the extras are overpriced: extra bed, laundry. Also we broke a glass (like a very simple water glass probably worth less than 1 $) and they charged 5 $ for it. Knowing we stayed 1 week with 2 rooms, I would never have expected to be charged for this.

The location is great, the staff are easy to talk to, and very accommodating. The rooms are clean but need better upkeep. AC placement is not so good, so the rooms are a bit hot. It gets better towards night time. Booking dot com details indicate parking spaces. Actually, you park on the street.

The staff was amazing and the hotel was very comfortable. The hotel is very nice, however it is showing signs of its age and needs many repairs. However, the staff and ambience make up for this.
