The staff was friendly and the room met our needs. Breakfast was from another place down the street so we did not use it. The location is close to the temples but it is quite a couple miles from the downtown area with restaurants and night life. Not many restaurants close by.

Beautiful wooden carvings and furniture. Staff was SUPER nice and attentive. Nice touch to get two bottles of water every day when you really need to hydrate in the Cambodian temperatures. Air conditioning was refreshing after a long day visiting near by temples. Nothing to complain about. Great price too.

Large room, good bed, excellent air conditioning, good sized bathroom. Good breakfast available, $5. Cleaning done every day. Not downtown, but closest to Angkor Wat. We rented and scooter and wandered around the archeological park.

The workers and owner were very helpful and friendly Kinda dark at night in the room. If the light bulbs were changed to daylite, I think it would help some.

Beautiful place and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms were amazing. We only stayed for a night but the hotel would be wonderful for a longer stay. Tv didn't work, but honestly isn't a huge deal in a city with so much to explore.

Sadly, the windows were dirty, the floor under the bed was dirty and the bath leaked when showering.

The hotel is only 5 mins away from the city center via tuk tuk but it’s worth it. The design relies heavily on wood , not to mention the buddhas and wooden furniture stored in the lobby and the first floor. If you want to stay away from cookie cutter accommodations, I encourage you to consider the Shining Angkor Boutique Hotel. The wooden staircase alone is worth the stay. And the staff were always helpful, polite, friendly, and accommodating.

Beautiful hotel, extremely gracious hosts who take pride it keeping their facilities clean and welcoming. Amazing location--we walked from our hotel to the Angkor Wat complex because we wanted the exercise. The road gets busy but I absolutely loved being so close to the temple complex. Also, right next door is a temple combined with a museum detailing the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge. A difficult but profound experience. Lastly, the hotel is located in a quieter portion of Siem Reap which we loved--walking distance to 2 fantastic restaurants as well as other ammenities (ATM, grocery store). I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

The staff were very accommodating and always ready to assist specially about tours. It is on the way going to Angkor Wat. Great for Tuktuk tours. Fast WIFI. No elevator. No TV reception for 3 nights while we were there but WIFI was really good. The room lighting can be improved. It is a bit dark. The bathroom can be improved too cause flushing the toilet emits a very very loud noise.

One of the most unique and beautiful hotels I've stayed at, really wooden, rustic charm I Loved it! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys wooden, rustic settings. Just down the road from Angkor Wat and close enough to town to enjoy the city. Great experience

Friendly helpful staff - good breakfast - temperature was very hot so pool was very welcome. Good local restaurants and an easy 5 minute tuk tuk ride into city.
