As someone who has spent my entire career working in luxury hospitality and who has had the privilege of staying in many of the world’s leading hotels, I do not say this lightly: our experience with Santaya La Maison in Cambodia was exceptional from beginning to end. This was an unexpected last minute trip to Cambodia, and from the moment we landed, the level of care and hospitality was immediately clear. Arriving at the airport to find a team member waiting with a personalised sign already set the tone. We were welcomed into a beautiful electric vehicle, our luggage was taken care of seamlessly, and we were offered chilled towels and fresh coconut water for the journey to the hotel. It was such a thoughtful and polished arrival experience, and after travelling extensively, those details matter. When we arrived at the hotel, the welcome was equally warm. The team greeted us with another refreshing drink and cold towels before showing us to a stunning room complete with an outdoor shower and an enormous bath. The room felt luxurious yet calm, and immaculately maintained. What impressed me most throughout our stay was the consistency. Luxury hospitality is not just beautiful design, it is attention to detail, maintenance, anticipation of guests’ needs and genuine warmth from the people delivering the experience. Santaya La Maison excels in all of these areas. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, lush, green and impeccably cared for. Every part of the property feels loved and maintained to an incredibly high standard. The staff are among the kindest and most considerate people we have lever encountered. Nothing ever felt forced or scripted. If it started raining, someone would immediately appear with an umbrella. Every interaction felt thoughtful, natural and sincere. It is rare to find a team so genuinely invested in looking after guests. Loved everything.

It’s a lovely private resort away from downtown bustle. We booked a package that included airport pickup, daily massages and laundry service, and it was amazing. The staff was super lovely and really went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. It’s not the fault of the hotel but guests should note there can be mozzies and flies outdoors. It’s completely unavoidable for a humid southeast Asian country.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout. Emily stood out for her efficiency, helping us organize our activity schedule and transportation seamlessly. The service was impressive—staff consistently anticipated guests’ needs, often being ready to assist even before being asked. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and we highly recommend it. We genuinely have no complaints. None that I can think of.

A hidden gem right at the entrance of Angkor Wat, just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city center. The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, and I highly recommend booking a massage at the spa, it’s truly out of this world. Actually nothing, as an extensive traveller, I can say this has been one of the best places I have ever stayed at so far.

One of the best hotel experiences we've had (and we love to travel!). We went here for our honeymoon this year, and from the initial airport pickup to the last day, it was beyond what we expected. The staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. The accommodations were great - the pool was beautiful & relaxing, breakfast was tasty, the daily massages we're such a treat, and the rooms we're clean & comfortable. We actually stayed in 2 hotels in Siem Reap, and this one was way way better. Would recommend. Nothing, it was a great experience.

Great welcome and all staff excellent. Rooms were good and pool also. Overall a very comfortable stay. It’s good that it’s a little out of town as it is quieter but possibly a little far for us

Staff were wonderful. building was clean and lovely. Overall experience was amazing at a good price. Only disappointment was I booked for the gym option and it was terrible. Needs to be clearer that it is not on the property and is not air conditioned. The gym is not in the hotel. It is a local gym with no air conditioning and is pretty terrible.

Staff was fantastic. Pheak and Emily at the front desk answered all our questions and helped arrange tours and reservations. The hotel drivers were all good, especially Mr. Pu Van. Hotel tuk tuk service was always prompt and friendly.Tours they arranged with Sara were very nice. Pool is great - even better than in the pictures. All the staff made our time in Siem Reap exceed our expectations.

It was just perfect - clean facility, kind and friendly staff, amazing tour/tuktuk arrangement, spacious pool, ... can't even list them all. We just booked this hotel without planning out our trip around Small/Grand tour, but the hotel sorted everything out during the check-in. Even going around town was so convenient with the tuktuk offered by the hotel(it's even cheaper than Grab I think). Would definitely stay again if I have a chance to visit Siem Reap Nothing

The staff were absolutely the sweetest most helpful people. Very close to Angkor Wat. Free laundry service. Very nice pool and landscape It would be helpful to add some more lights along the pathway to ensure safe passage.

We had a beautiful comfortable room and the staff were so nice and helpful. The spa at this place was exceptional!! Loved where the restaurant was located - amongst Bayon trees. Food was very reasonable The shower area did not have a covering and toilet got wet.
