The location is convenient for many activities. Apsara theatre, where one can watch the Apsara dance show, is very close by. There are a couple of good vegetarian restaurants within walking distance. Cross the river, and you are on your way to the night market and pub street, which you can also walk to. The room had a sitting area and a worktable with a chair, which is good. The staff at the reception, and also the restaurant, were very friendly and helpful. There is a pool on the property which looked clean. Overall, it is a very good hotel. The lighting! The level was low in room. Even more so in the wash area, that I did not feel it convenient to shave. I do not know if it a power-saving thing, but I did feel uncomfortable with this one aspect. This is something the management needs to address without fail, in my opinion. You don't have to make it bright like an operation theatre in a hospital, but the level of lighting should be sufficient.

The rooms are excellent and the housekeeping does a fantastic job of restoring them to their warm clean glory everyday despite the mess a couple of travelling tourists create.
