The location was convenient for our route and well placed. There were ample restaurants within walking distance. This is an older facility and the age tells. The Air conditioner in my room was the equivalent of sleeping inside a Jet engine with a bad bearing. I have significant hearing loss and it was still annoying! Plus we picked up more than 1/2 dozen dead insects off the floor.

Air conditioning was extremely loud and unable to keep up. Our room was actually quite damp and hot.

After we left, I called the manager twice to try to resolve the issue, but both times I was dismissed without any effort to make things right. It's frustrating to be promised something and then have no one follow through. There were several other issues during our stay as well. The pool was tiny, the toilet in our room was difficult to flush, and the complimentary breakfast was very disappointing. The selection was sparse, the orange juice tasted spoiled, and the biscuits and gravy were cold. Customer service makes all the difference when something goes wrong, and unfortunately this hotel failed in that regard. The lack of communication, follow-through, and concern for guests left a very negative impression. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
