Very nice pool. The rooms were spacious. The food from the pool bar was great and very fresh. The owners and staff were the best part. Always making sore everything was perfect. You can’t beat how easy it is to walk around the entire town from there. No complaints.

Location and staff and very clean. Bathroom dated but clean but had to ask for hot water to be fixed each evening, which the staff were very responsive so had hot water in ten minutes. Had a glass of wine in balcony while waiting!

Advertised as a 3 star, priced as a 3 star, got an 11/10 3 star. Great management, great staff, 5 mins to beach and town, lovely pool area and breakfast Clean, tidy close to everything

We have liked the position of the property, the kindness of the owners and of the staff and the fact that it was clean. We had really good time and enjoyed our stay. The property is close to Skala Beach but we have preferred most Mounda Beach 3km far. You have everything within 10 min walk - store, restaurants. We hope that we will back soon Nothing

Staffs are very kind, great Location. Pool area is always clean. A lot of parking space. Breakfast is good. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit cefalonia. Great value for money. A lot of beaches near to this hotel.

The room size was nice. The staff was very helpful, the bar was very good too. The pool was warm. The breakfast was lack-luster.

Just taken over by new owners when we arrived. The only complaint I have is the pool. It was lovely, but open to people who were not customers of the hotel. It was meant to be open from 11AM but people turned up at 9AM so the time was not enforced and it got busy. Luckily beach is round the corner…

We weren’t expecting much after reading reviews however, when we arrived the family suite we had was massive it had been refurbished and was fantastic. Sunbeds on our own balcony. The place had been taken over with new owners and they couldn’t do enough for us. They were very friendly. We would definitely book again if we returned to Skala . Location was a 5 minute walk to the beach. Situated just outside the main tavernas shops so was in a quiet location but only a couple of blocks away from everything you needed. Nothing

Ideal location.. It was a bit basic but comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the room was cleaned daily. There was nothing I didn't really like, I just felt it could do with a few upgrades, pool area was tired with some exposed screws on tiles and creaky loose ladders going into pool.

The pool was clean. The region was very quiet. Technical issues There are a lot of things in the room that are to be fixed: - the holder of the key. Everytime I took it, the plastic holder fell because it was broken. - the closet doors. Hard to open, especially when the lowest slide box was closed. - the shower sliding doors. They were suppposed to slide, but they didn't. - wet floor in the bathroom. After every bath procedure, there was impossible yo walk. There's something wrong with the system of water absorbtion. Room service issues: - Dirty floor in the room. The room service worker had to clean the floor everyday. Well, he or she cleaned up only the floor from the bath, changed the trash bin and the towels (once in 2 days). - Not enough higiene products. We were provided with toilet paper (a lot) and a hand-soap that was about to be finished in 2 days (very little quantity). No shampoo. Finally, I want to say that I had stopped before in Skala into another 3-star hotel, but the conditions were much better. Either that hotel deserves 4 stars and Big Village — 3, or if that hotel is rated with 3 stars, unfortunately the Big Village must have 2 stars only. Hope this honest review will encourage the administration to improve their accomodation conditions.
