Skardu Saraye Hotel & Resort

The rooms were spacious, spotless, comfortable, and offered beautiful mountain views. The hotel was peaceful, exceptionally well maintained, and the food was delicious. What truly made our stay special was the warmth, kindness, and professionalism of the entire team. A special mention goes to the owner, Mr. Amjad, who was incredibly humble, welcoming, and genuinely cared about his guests. We would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Nawaz, whom we hired through the hotel for our entire trip. He was not only a highly competent and safe driver but also an excellent tour guide. He drove us comfortably in his well-maintained Prado, always arrived on time, shared interesting local insights, recommended the best places to visit and eat, and made every journey trip enjoyable. We are truly grateful to everyone at Skardu Saraye Hotel & Resort for making our family vacation so memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Skardu. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Breakfast was very delicious. We loved the room and breakfast. The staff is very cooperative.

I recently stayed for 10 days with 2 kids and elderly parents and I was truly impressed! Here's what stood out: - *WiFi*: The internet was fast and 24 hours connected - *Hot Water*: The hot water was plentiful and 24 hours available making an ease for the kids - *Electricity*: The power supply was stable, and I didn't experience any outages. - *Food*: The hotel's food was delicious and nicely prepared. "Nice food" says it all! - *Cleanliness*: The hotel was spotless, and the staff maintained high standards of hygiene. - *Comfortable*: My room was cozy,big and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. - *Kind Hosts*: The hosts were warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Treat us as guests not as customers - *Flexible*: They checked in on us even when we were returning late at night, showing consideration for their guests. - *Trustworthy Drivers*: The drivers arranged by the hotel were experienced, reliable, and safe. Although the hotel is *off the main road*, they kindly arranged transportation to the market, restaurants whenever we asked,which was convenient. Overall, my stay was fantastic, thanks to the sincere efforts of the staff. I'd highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities. There is nothing.

The staff was really friendly. They made us feel like at home. The place is near and clean. Whereas the food is really good.

It was a great experience. Staff was amazing and food quality was top notch in the hotel. I will surely recommend to couples and families to stay in this beautiful place. The owners were very cooperative and supportive. At the end i will praise and recommend Mr Nawaz for transportation. He is such a nice and honest person. He showed us all the beautiful places In Skardu and he take all the beautiful pictures of us. If we tell him to to take 100 pictures or videos he didn’t mind it at all. We loved our stay because of Mr Nawaz. They need to improve some minor facilities in the room,like coffee and tea material should be there all the time. LCD should be placed on the wall. Other than this everything was great.

Rooms were clean and room service was also excellent.. All the staff especially amjad sb and nawaz sb were very humble and cooperative and guided about the tour really well.. Highly recommended

Exceptional

The best part of our stay was the owner, he was incredibly helpful during our stay. The hotel is in a quiet part of the town, which we liked. Unfortunately it's not signposted so not easy to locate but they will help you find it. The rooms are quite clean and functional. Bathroom is also quite clean. Commode is in an elevated position in the bathroom so a potential hazard if you're not careful. No TV but Wifi was good. Hot water available at any time. Furnishings are very basic. Basic menu available. Nice basic garden to sit in and enjoy the surrounding views. His cousins operates a driving service and both of them were superb - Nawaz & Faraz. I would highly recommend both drivers. Very safe drivers (most drive like lunatics in Pakistan) and incredible helpful. Genuinely nice individuals. They both made our stay memorable. The only negative for us was when the owner decided to cancel the second part of our booking. We had informed him that we are returning to the hotel a few days later and he had assured us that he will reserve 2 rooms for us. He unfortunately did not respect this so we had to spend quite a bit of time looking for an alternative place. This has made me question his reliability for future bookings. Other than this, the initial experience was good.

Lovely staff, decent location, low price, nice grounds. Shower was hot with decent water pressure. Food took ages to come after ordering (like 90 mins or more), room was full of flies when we arrived, had to ask for insect spray (wish they used before we arrived), some little kids were looking through our bedroom window at some point which wasn't ideal, doors locked from outside (very unsafe for solo travellers, especially women!). You get what you pay for but would recommend paying extra for a better place.

Good central location in Skardu (it’s not beside the airport as the booking.com mp indicates). Hotel is in its own large private grounds and has large comfortable bedrooms. Would be excellent for summer stays (we were there at start of winter and were given extra blankets). The hotel owner was very attentive and ensured we enjoyed our stay. We needed help from the owner to locate the property. If staying in winter, be aware there is no room heating - we have found this is not unusual in Skardu.
