Receptionist was lovely & welcoming. rooms were clean , room was a little small but ok for 1 night. shame they don't do breakfast.

The property was in a really good location! Car park spaces looked like they were drawn by a pensioner with 2 lazy eyes, which made it really difficult to park as the lines were all crooked and car park was busy, extremely stressful start to the day! Tv was about a mile above your head on the wall which was a bit weird, also tv was probably older than me, no YouTube, Netflix etc. Ended up having to watch Freeview, felt like I was in 2010. Room was absolutely boiling, and I mean unbearably hot. It was 28 outside to be fair so I expected it to be warm, but when you’ve got a window that only opens about 4/5 inches and no air conditioning why are you supposed to do. Bed was rock hard, super uncomfortable to sleep on, but with the heat I knew I would hardly sleep anyways. The people sleeping next door decided to come in at 2am and act like clowns. Running up and down the corridor, slamming doors and shouting for over an hour. Would have called the hotel assistance but it was in the welcome the receptionist forgot to give us. Bought a curry from the bar which was absolutely terrible, no taste. I’m greedy when it comes to food but even I didn’t finish it, and for £13 a meal you expect a lot better, wasn’t surprised when it gave me a little bit of a bad stomach next morning, fortunately the toilet worked. To top it all off went to get a shower in the morning and the water was freezing, left it running for 10 minutes and still freezing. complaining wouldn’t have solved it as it was close to check out time so I just left it.

Really clean, staff friendly, quiet location Nothing

As coming to end of season the room was cold and the bed felt damp when you got in it no heating yet turned on

A very comfortable room, a great shower, nice food and free parking which was a bonus. Having to take our 9 year old into the family room to eat even though it was only 4pm when we were told on arrival that kids were allowed in the main room until 6pm. It really is just a minor niggle.

The friendly team work so hard too keep there establishment at its best, Food was outstanding, room was amazing, will definitely return.

Good value for money No fridge as I have twins and have fresh milk when they go to bed and through night
