Nothing. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel was one of the biggest disappointments of my recent travels. I booked my stay three weeks in advance based on the hotel’s excellent rating and beautiful photos. Unfortunately, the reality did not match the expectations. First, the hotel grounds are very large, and guest rooms are spread across multiple buildings. My room was located quite far from both the restaurant and the reception area. During my stay, it rained heavily almost nonstop, which meant every trip to dinner required a long walk through pouring rain. Room service was not available, and every attempt to reach the restaurant by phone resulted in the call being disconnected. The room itself was far below what I would expect from a 4-star spa hotel. The air conditioning unit looked outdated, the carpet was old and stained, and the overall condition of the room felt tired and neglected. What surprised me most was the bathroom amenities. For a property that markets itself as a spa hotel, there were very few toiletries and none of the thoughtful touches typically expected at this price point. The experience felt far from luxurious. Another issue was the number of guests with dogs. Barking could be heard from nearby rooms, and the sound insulation was extremely poor. Anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing spa retreat should be aware of this. The spa itself was also disappointing. One of the mainm reasons I chose this hotel was to enjoy a relaxing massage. However, when I arrived, there were no available appointments for the same day. The only available slot on the following day was at 5:00 PM, despite the spa being open until 9:00 PM. For a hotel that heavily promotes its spa facilities, this was very frustrating. After realizing that the hotel was simply not what I had expected, I politely asked to check out early and receive a refund for the unused second night. My request was declined by the reception staff and later by the manager as well.

The hotel is a solid 9, but the restaurant is what makes it a 10. The rooms are nicely decorated, the grounds are beautiful, even in spring when there is not much going on, everything looked very nice. The automotive museum is also worth a visit. The restaurant is excellent, we ate there multiple times and did not have a single bad dish. Everything was tasty, served nicely and the price was fair for what you got. The staff was very polite and helpful as well. Ideal location if you are traveling through Poland and want to see Wroclaw, but do not want to deal with driving inside the city. Not a huge issue, as it rather depends on what other guests are staying in adjacent rooms, but the sound isolation could be better. However I also understand that it is a historical, renovated building and there are some limitations regarding that.

Bad value for money. For more than 500 pln a night I expect perfection which is actually for away. Shower was falling apart, noisy AC and no slippers but what disappointed me the most is breakfast. Cakes tasted very average and scumble eggs were cold! Quality decreased a lot compared to my previous visits...

I booked this hotel as a March 8th gift for my wife and her friends so they could relax and enjoy the spa. Imagine their huge disappointment when they arrived only to find out the spa was closed for renovations! There was absolutely no warning about this during the booking process. If I had known, I would have chosen a completely different place. To make matters worse, the hotel didn't even offer a discount, a complimentary service, or any proper compensation for the missing amenities.

Though relatively small, the spa is great – lots of treatments to choose from, lovely atmosphere. Fantastic variety at breakfast, something for everyone. The entire, enormous property is well-kept and classy. The rooms we stayed in looked a little dated and could stand a small renovation. Furthermore, the receptionists should pay closer attention to guests' requests – unfortunately, because they did not do as I asked, my friends had to spend 2 hours having coffee instead of being let into their rooms.

We had a beautiful room that was comfortable and well set up. The car museum had events that caused room to be noisy and for visiting Wroclaw it was about 45 minute drive.

    100% excellent!

The restaurant service was poor, the waiters were forgetting things we ordered, orders took longer then necessary. Food was excellent but they killed the experience by the poor service from the waiters.

We booked this hotel expecting a stay in a romantic castle but the reality couldn't be more different. The “castle” is just a name – guests are actually placed in a completely different building nearby. What’s worse, the property primarily functions as a wedding venue not a hotel. As staff themselves admitted loud music is allowed all night during weddings – which happened every single night of our 3-night stay. Despite repeated complaints about the unbearable noise and our inability to sleep we were repeatedly told that “wedding guests are the priority.” It was clear that as regular guests, we were treated as second-class – ignored and unimportant. The housekeeping was appalling. Every day we found more and more black hairs in the supposedly fresh bed linens – despite the fact that neither of us has dark hair. It was deeply unhygienic and unacceptable. Breakfast was equally disappointing. For a hotel charging this much per night, the breakfast offering was incredibly poor – mostly pastries and a few basic items. Only once did we see a minimal selection of meat (some fried sausages and a small piece of fish). It’s honestly not what you would expect from any decent hotel, let alone one that presents itself as luxurious. JFYI we took breakfasts around 9 am, not at the end. Lastly, the overall attitude of the staff (apart from the restaurant waiters who were professional and kind) was shockingly rude and unhelpful. Any request or concern was met with indifference or passive aggression. In short – this place is massively overpriced, misleading in its marketing, poorly run and disrespectful to paying guests. I would absolutely not recommend staying here unless you’re attending a wedding – and even then, don’t expect much in terms of service or comfort.

Great location, very clean, delicious breakfast and nice staff WiFi coverage is pretty poor and it makes it almost impossible to use it.

Breakfest was wonderful. A little bit too time we lost for dinner in the restaurant. It was good we could visit restaurant with pet, but just it's quite hard to keep dog couple of hours in silence. all this sit eis wonderful

Staff was super courteous even at later arrival than originally planned. Rooms were clean and amenities were appreciated. Especially enjoyed the ability to make a cup of tea in the evening after a long day of driving. The grounds are absolutely amazing and the gardeners take pride in their work. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a huge variety to choose from. Service staff were very quick to assist. We did not utilize the swimming pool or hot tub, nor did we visit the museum on premises, but I am sure they were just as wonderful. Would definitely stay again. My only suggestion would be better lighting at the street entrance sign for those arriving at night.

The nearby promenade is well established and the breakfast is delicious. The restaurant dinner was also very delicious..Not only did you use the sauna and spa facilities, but the water quality of the pool was clean The water pressure in the shower room is a little low..

    Exceptional

  • Engine customer May 2025

The room is clean and the bedding is good. It was especially nice to be able to use the swimming pool and sauna spa. Dinner and breakfast are very delicious. There are buildings that don't have elevators because it's a low-rise accommodation, so check in advance if your luggage is heavy

Awesome place, located in the nice garden with a pond, perfect breakfast, nice staff, and the restaurant is a must-try. I can only recommend this place. Only a few details separate this place from the absolute top, however, the details make a perfect experience. 9/10
