Boasting a very central location near the shopping street Vitosha Boulevard, Hotel Alabin Central is close to the major cultural and architectural landmarks of Sofia. The Alabin is also near Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Within a one-mile radius are the National History Museum, the National Art Gallery, the Opera and theaters. The hotel was opened in 2009. The newly furnished rooms are comfortable and equipped with refrigerators and they have individually controlled air conditioning. The Sofia International Airport is 6 miles from the Alabin Central. An airport shuttle to and from the hotel costs extra.

Nothing. There was no toilet water running, there was a bucket left that we needed to fill with water so we can clean the toilet.ridiculous!

The only problem was that the door to the bathroom didn't close. And you could hear and feel the tram lines out front, but nothing to do about that.

They made me check in a Chinese restaurant!!! Can you believe that?? Totally unbelievable! No receipts of any kind were given although I requested it many times!! Super ultra old hotel with extreme old facilities!! Very dirty and very hot, no ac working!!

The location is excellent! I had a couple of drinks with friends nearby and going back at the hotel was quite easy. There was no hot water to take a shower in the morning!

Near to all tourist attractions No elevator available and i had to carry my big luggage to 3 flights of stairs. Corridors were dim and smelly. My room was extremely small for 2 persons. The room was not cleaned before i moved in and worst of all found dead insects on the floor !!!

There was nothing to like other than the location Everything. Key had to be picked up from a takeaway next door. The corridors were dark, dirty,. Electric socket in the room was literally hanging out of the wall. It felt incredibly unwelcome and in fact, quite a scary place to be. It was so bad I checked out after one night - with no refund available on the rest of my nights and paid to stay somewhere else.

Nothing at all. Hotel smelt of cigarettes. Room was filthy and it had mould in 3 separate places.

The best is only the location in Sofia as close to everything in the city Good WiFi No hygiene level Smell in the hotel in corridor No cleaning services No restaurant on the hotel No receptionist on site Old fashioned dated furniture and no refurbishment for long time Beddings not changed daily

location excellent 10 mins walk from everything. trams right outside the door. the accommodation could do with a link of paint, but was clean and comfortable. No kettle!!!!

Location maybe Well, the experience was not so nice: internet/WIFI very poor I had to use my roaming, smell in the room was really bad and wall were with spit, light with bed was not working at all and moreover switch was broken, electrical plugs were not even keeping charger properly , at least mattress was not that bad. Hotel does not have lift, nor provide breakfast and staff only available at certain time. Who gave it 3 star rating not sure, if it satisfy a 1 star European standard already a plus as i would not give more than that. Hotel is basically under very bad state with lots of health and safety issues even the refurbished rooms as I took so called newly refurbished room specifically due to the fact that other rooms even were more worst on picture than the one I took. Hotel NOT suitable for people with disabilities!
