Hotel Central Club Sofia

Located on a main thoroughfare just a short walk from Sardika metro station right in the centre of Sofia. Easy to find late night and facilitated an extremely late check-in. Excellent price for my stay. Clean and comfortable. Have patience with the elevator; it's functioning - but very slow. The spa was somewhat disappointing; I couldn't find a changing facility except the toilet - and, while the jacuzzi was excellent, neither the steam room nor the sauna were up to temperature.

The reception is open 24/7, which was very helpful. They also have a spa, a nice bonus after a day of sightseeing. My room was cleaned every day and was always spotless. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Elevator is slow

Location is just minutes from the tram station, friendly staff. Great value, Perfect place for a quick layover. Place is a little run down. It needs a refresher.

Their policy is not to provide a second key card, and as we were 2 different coworkers, it was hard for us to arrange our time. The Jacuzzi could be cleaner. The room was next to the main road so it was quite loud, however not a grat issue.

Good room and friendly staff, plus the spa access was a nice bonus.

After checking in, we opened a window and left for the day. When we got back, the window was closed and a bottle of perfume was missing.

My room smelled like an ashtray the smell came in waves, tried to tell the front desk person she was dismissive and basically said that there are guests that smoke in the room and to keep the windows closed not any attempt to find a solution, the smell was so strong my head hurt.

When we went to the spa in the morning, neither the sauna nor the steam room were warm. It seems like these need a good few hours to warm up.

Brown water from any pipe in my room. Quite creepy spa. Got thrown out of the common area after asking if I could stay here after checking in.

The hotel needs a renovation.

I love the location, close to the center, Serdika station, and the train and bus station. A 30-minute ride to the airport. The staff is always friendly, and the rooms and hotel area are always clean. The spa is a wonderful perk. Nothing to add here. The location, facilities, and staff are all great, so we always stay here when we are in Sofia.

I liked everything. The staff is all friendly and welcoming. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, even though it's an older property. In the heart of Sofia, all conveniences are close by. I liked just about everything. I suppose they could modernize the lift as it's quite old and the only lift on the property, so if it breaks down, it's difficult to access the upper floors.

The bathroom smelled bad

I enjoyed my stay at Central Club Hotel. Spacious, quiet and clean room. 24 hour front desk. Free spa access. Great location. Would stay here again. No fridge or kettle in room.

The location is good, walking distanceto many things and very close to public transportations, Metro 4 directly to the airport. Room has furnitures and is of medium size. The staff provided us with a kettle upon request. They cleaned room every day. We did not use the free spa as it looks not very comfortable to our standards. The elevator is very slow.
