Cozy and great location

Good location couple of minutes walk to the Express Bus stop and "downtown" bus stop. Quiet area. The room has probably more than you will need. It is equipped with a full set kitchen and fridge. The hotel can't be 4 stars, at least this part because is being shared with another hotel , i am not sure what is actually going on here. I stepped outside the elevator and i was greeted with a terrible stench in the hallway. The carpet was covered in stains and the walls were all chipped , scratched and dirty. The room was in a better condition thankfully but with a small odor. Facilities seemed quite cheap to me like they are "fake" or something. The hallway first impressions is mainly a huge downvote.

Good location, near express bus terminal. Very clean. All facilities in the room were new in fact.

Very convenient to restaurants. We had a hire car and parking was easy. The bathroom really let down an excellent building. Stepping into a plunge bath to access the shower would not be possible for elderly, children or those with mobility problems… perhaps there is another bathroom configuration possible if asked…

Perfect location if you arrive through Express Bus Terminal (it is 10 minute walk from the terminal). The room was very nice and always clean.

I particularly would like to thank the host. He was very generous in relation to an early check-in, and answered my queries regarding the facility very quickly and efficiently. Much appreciated. I would not hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is in a great location. It was convenient to get around as a big mart is nearby and a lot of little restaurants are close by. The rooms were very clean and the perfect size for a little weekend get-away. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the pillows are very fluffy and stiff. The bathtub is quite small. If you want a bathtub that you can relax in and are particular about beds and pillows, I would definitely look at a different hotel.

Clean and self contained room with a kitchen but no kitchen utensils or crockery to cook with. Good shower. Close to the main road in order to get a bus to the national park and only 10 mins walk to the bus station.

Location. Facilities. Friendliness of staff. Comfortable budget stay. Nothing.

The hotel itself was very warm. I left window open all the time (October). Still, this was not too bothersome. Staff just spoke enough English to check me in.

There is a big supermarket nearby. The bed is not comfortable.

The room is quite spacious with window that allows natural light to enter the room. The design of the bathroom is very odd - the bathtub height is high and might not be convenient for people to enter into the shower. They did not clear the fridge from the previous stay where someone left their leftover food in the fridge.

Too small and noisy.

- It is on the other side of the bay to the city, some rooms have an ocean view, looking out to the city. - The rooms looked clean and modern. - There is a washing machine in the room (need to bring your own washing liquid) and a full size fridge. There is a kitchen in the room but it cannot be used due to fire restrictions. Microwave is available in the convenience store (not 24/7) right next door. - Underground parking was available. - The hotel is within 5 mins walk to E mart (supermarket) where you can find plenty local produce and many restaurants and shops. - There was a terrible insect killer smell coming out of the drains in the bathrooms. It was so strong that we woke up with awful discharge in our eyes. The hotel let us change rooms, but they couldn’t give much information regard the smell. After we found the root cause ourselves, we were able to take some actions and help ourselves to have a comfortable stay. - The building heating was already started, although it was still in the mid 20s Celsius outside. We had to keep the cold aircon on to compete with the heat coming from the hallway. - The room looked clean but I found couple of big food chunks from other people in the room. - Our bedding had a few holes in them, probably due to over washing, please refer to next point. - The old fashioned unsustainable daily cleaning service was provided, even the bar soap for hand washing was renewed everyday. This does not fit in the modern world nor a developed country who claimed to be “green”.

There is a washing machine in the room and a rack to hand the laundry which is important after a day of trekking. The room is very spacious, comfortable bed. Bathtub ??

Loved the room layout with the large bed and washing machine (and small kitchen though I did not use it). Also liked the small but deep bath (which I personally prefer). Only a 10 minute walk from the express bus terminal and close to the marina and park. What can be a bit confusing is that 2 hotels are in the same building. On the side of the building the other hotel (Marina Bay) is listed so I wasn’t sure if this was the right place… but it was. There are also 2 reception desks at the lobby. The one for this hotel is on your left.
